"It is with real disappointment that I have to leave a negative review but after the service we have received was appalling the customer service of some of there staff would have to be looked at if they were mine or booking was mixed up which made it look like we had only paid for 1 room for 2 with 1 breakfast which was not the case, but was hounded by staff while eating breakfast to show proof that I had paid for 2, by the time I returned my breakfast was cold so left it to then find that we had also been locked out our room so had to get one of the cleaners to sort it. The last day we'll we went down for breakfast to find it a complete nightmare no food left no cutlery, no plates, no where to sit because there were plates, cups and rubbish everywhere 😢"

"We visit Barnsley quite regularly from Canada. This property is always our go to when there. Several of the staff recognize us year over year, which is lovely!! Basic, but comfortable rooms. Close by a number of takeaways and two major shops (Aldi directly across the street) and fairly centrally located. Works for us!"
