Hotel Pupin Novi Sad

Novi Sad|1.19km from city center
My wife and I were traveling around Serbia and we had originally planned only one night at Hotel Pupin. We weren't able to find a ton of advance info on the hotel because it was new, but the location was good, price seemed good, and it was only one night so didn't seem like much of a risk. The hotel and Novi Sad were so charming that we extended our stay to three nights. Overall, we were extremely happy with out stay. The hotel is brand new and is very close to the old town center (<10 min walking). Hotel staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. Everything in our room was new with modern-style decor, and the room was very clean. The styling of the room kind of reminded me of a Sofitel or something between a Westin and a W (Westin with darker lighting and more ”modern” finishes). The hotel is near a busy street, but we asked for a quiet room so they gave us one in back that was great. We booked our stay directly through the hotel's website where we were able to get a special weekend package that included free parking and breakfast (seemed like a great deal compared to room-only rates). The parking garage was new, very spacious, and a huge relief after my experiences with previous, tiny Serbian parking garages (as an American used to more space, driving and parking in Serbian cities was an adventure). Breakfast in the hotel's restaurant was amazing. So much delicious food and excellent service. Three months later, my wife and I still always talk about the breakfast anytime Novi Sad and Hotel Pupin come up in conversation. Serbian meze (charcuterie and cheeses), fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausages, delicious breads and spreads, vegetable salads, espresso drinks, and fruit juices... delicious! The only things we thought could be improved at this hotel were the night light under the bed (it was a motion sensor or something and would sometimes turn on randomly while we were in bed; we fixed this by taking the room key/card out of the light switch at night), and the mini-bar which didn't seem to get cold (we experienced this at a couple other Serbian hotels as well). Neither was a big issue. Also, would note that the hotel is in a shared commercial building. To get to the check-in desk, you walk to the right of the Continental AG desk in the first floor lobby and then you take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor where you'll find the hotel desk. There was some construction going on in or near the building when we were there in July 2020, but we really didn't notice it other than seeing some workers walk by a couple times.

We stayed in this Hotel as part of the Mackin Travel group in September. Bedroom was accessed by card and on entering the room there was plenty of space to walk around and for luggage. Good lightening and wall sockets beside bedroom lockers to charge phones. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of English channels to choose from on the TV which was wall mounted. Free Wifi was excellent also. There was no safe in room which was the only small disappointment we had. Breakfast was good but sometimes food was slow to be replenished but the waiters worked hard. We eat most evenings at this Hotel as we were staying on a B&B basis. Food was delicious and freshly served. Good helpings also so got up from the table well satisfied. Staff were very friendly also and made out stay all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this Hotel to stay in and is centrally located with exchange bureaus everywhere as well as in this Hotel also. Taxis very cheap to get around in also. Drink prices cheap also as compared to Irish standards also.

Very pleasant hotel in the heart of the city. Comfortable bed. Clean. Nice service. For a short stay there is really approx. There are delicious breakfasts with Balkan accent, or local delicious foods. If I had to come back here I would love to stay here.

A very nice small hotel in the heart of the historic centre. It felt like home. Beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast, with lots of options. We really enjoyed it. Helpful staff as well and very reasonable price. Everything was perfect.
Guest House Panorama Aqualux

The hotel has a good environment, just beside the Danube River, the view is superb, and there is still plenty of heating in April. Don't worry about being cold, the facilities are perfect, the service is intimate, and the luggage storage service! The location is far from the city, but there is a taxi service at the front desk. It takes more than 500 dinars to the city center. When the city returns to the hotel, it hits a black car and is pitted for 2000 dinars. Be careful! The breakfast is too salty for cooking, and the cake and scrambled eggs are delicious! The bed at the bed is really easy to get to the legs, and the quality of the slippers is not good. In addition, the store payment is more than forty-five yuan a day than the scheduled price. The peanuts and biscuits placed on the table with tea and coffee are not free. When you check out, you receive more than 500 dinars!
