The surroundings were quiet and relaxing, perfect after a long day at Plitvice Lakes. The staff was kind and welcoming, and parking was convenient. The forest is on the cliffs overlooking Plitvice Lakes. You can walk over to see the lakes below. The rooms are not big, but they are clean and tidy. The only inconvenience is that the bed faces the sloping roof and has been bumped countless times. Breakfast is standard white food. You can park your car in front of each house."

"We got an economy room. It was clean and there was a restaurant at the base of the complex. Our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and our friends room shower didn’t drain well. But they were very friendly and helpful. It was the perfect spot to stay before accessing the park the next day. If you have more time, there is a fun adventure park across the street."

"Stayed in this hostel and had a lovely experience. The volunteers and very kind and helpful, the space is gorgeous, and very clean in part because of the no shoes policy!! What I really enjoyed about this hostel was the community environment. Every night there’s a big group of people to hangout with outside. They provide games, drinks and lots of fun! I’m hesitant to give it a five just because the room was VERY hot at night, I was sweating as I was falling asleep. I totally admire the eco friendly consciousness, but I do think there may be some sort of middle ground possible. Additionally, there were lots of flies, but that seems to just be a feature of the area, and not the hostels fault."
