"We visited Bikaner last week of March and season’s end but surprisingly hotel was quite full. From the gate at entry till the goodbyes when we left, we were treated like royalty! There was no request that was not promptly fulfilled, nor a flaw in the product offered. In 2025 an unannounced Michelin visited and awarded the hotel a plaque proudly displayed at reception. The rooftop infinity pool ***** with a complementary steam room is a welcome destination after a day of seeing the sights of Bikaner. An ever attentive attendant Raghuveer ensures that pigeons are kept at bay and every wish is promptly serviced. Restaurants offer multi cuisine options, as well as a pizza and pasta option in the two verdant courtyards around the structure. The bar is well stocked with a range of imported and local malts, cocktails, wine options. I found the prices to be high, probably due to local licensing laws so carried our own alcoholic preference. Breakfast is truly multi cuisine: you name it and they produce it! South Indian, Western, whatever! ***** with a range of fruits, fresh juices, yogurt options, etc. Bread options include excellent sourdough, croissants and a range of Indian breads, puri, parathas. Most considerate is the offer to send ***** a doggy bag, if you want some additional fruit or juice in your room or to consume during your sightseeing. Truly I could not have wished for anything more!"

A wouldbe intruder attempted to break into my adjoining room in the night, and would have done so if I hadn't secured that bolt."

"We visited Bikaner in March and stayed at the magnificent Narendra Bhawan hotel. We had the most wonderful experience from arrival to departure This is a wonderful property and their attention to detail is of the highest standard The food is of the highest quality, breakfast has every available option you could wish for even sour-dough bread! Dinner was delicious with an extensive menu and the dessert s wow , the lemon tart was the kindest I’ve had anywhere in the world The rooftop infinity pool has amazing views and is gtratvfor the sunder Toast but not least the greatest aspect of this hotel is the staff tram their customer service is of the highest level Thank you for a memorable stay it doesn’t get better than this"

"Sheets, towels, foot mats, furniture, taps, shower, drain cover were all worn out the room had an odd order with no ventilation at all maintenance and hygiene need to be prioritised they gave an upgrade from sagar nivas to sagar palace as we were not happy with the rooms but for 4, 500- per night it was still very bad. Breakfast & dinner buffet lacked options. However the staff very courteous and the saffire bar was very nice and the cocktails were good."

"This is NOT a four-star hotel. They gave me an interior room on the first floor with no view so it felt like a room in a convent. When asked to upgrade no other rooms with WiFi were available. There are stains in the toilet, shower, and on the mirrors. After showering the water leaked from the shower onto the tile outside the shower despite a wall of glass. The table lamps were not working and management fixed it immediately. As for the hot water, it was scalding then quickly went cold. You can hear other guests in their rooms and the noise from courtyard. If you’re a western tourist, the bed is rock hard and you’re only given two pillows. The room service was prompt."

"The laxi Niwas palace is remote from the town of Bikaneer which cannot be accessed by walking. It is a wedding venue although I was not kept awake by the noise. Ear plugs are provided. I am disappointed by no response to a missing expensive top that was taken from the bathroom hanger. . Breakfast the first morning was a non event as there were not many guests however picked up the following morning when a tour group was there."

"⭐ 1-Star Review I recently stayed at Vesta Palace, Bikaner with my family and had a very disappointing experience during dinner. The staff insisted we opt for the buffet, and when we declined, they reluctantly took our à la carte order. After that, the service became almost non‑existent. All the staff members were completely occupied with an event being hosted at the property, and no one took responsibility for attending to us. We kept waiting, but there was no follow‑up, no service, and no basic courtesy. For a hotel of this level, such negligence and lack of attention towards in‑house guests is unacceptable. Our family dinner turned into a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this place based on the service we received."

"We visited Gajner Palace to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The biggest highlight of the property is its serene location and beautiful views. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, it definitely delivers. We also enjoyed the evening cultural activities—the Rajasthani folk performances were vibrant, authentic, and a lovely way to experience the local culture. The food, however, was a mixed experience. The snacks we ordered during the day were good, but the dinner was quite average and could have been much better. Overall, it's a nice weekend escape for those living in or around Bikaner. The palace has an interesting history and a beautiful setting, but in my opinion, it may not be worth planning a long trip from cities like Delhi or Mumbai just for this property. Still, if you're nearby and looking for a relaxing heritage stay, it's worth considering."
