"Our experience was simply wonderful. The check in felt a little rushed as there was a large group of tourists being checked in. Beyond that, everything was pictures perfect. The service and ambiance is extraordinary. Raghu was one server at the restaurant who would constantly look out for us and make sure he took good care. He has knowledge of Narendra Bhagwan that he described through the pictures displayed. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Definitely, would recommend it to anyone."

It's situated in the centre of town, but it is so quiet. It's a real serene oasis in a busy city. We were very sad to leave."

"The hotel is unsafe for lone females. There were double doors to an adjoining room and I had climb on furniture to reach the only bolt to the righthand door which I managed to secure. A wouldbe intruder attempted to break into my adjoining room in the night, and would have done so if I hadn't secured that bolt."

"the hotel is good and clean. the rooms are very nice. the food is also amazing. the rates are ok as in neither cheap nor too expensive. the things i didn’t like about the hotel is they give just 2 bottles of half litre water for 2 adults per day complimentary else u have to pay. it should at least be 2 bottles of 1 litre per day. and second they don’t have buffet breakfast and not even a menu card for breakfast. you have to order and then they will prepare. they just offer 3-4 dishes and that too repeated everyday. thirdly, if u are ordering dinner alá carte to room, you have to pay for the onion salad also which is normally complimentary. all in all it was a pleasant stay with few cons but those are bearable."

"The laxi Niwas palace is remote from the town of Bikaneer which cannot be accessed by walking. It is a wedding venue although I was not kept awake by the noise. Ear plugs are provided. I am disappointed by no response to a missing expensive top that was taken from the bathroom hanger. . Breakfast the first morning was a non event as there were not many guests however picked up the following morning when a tour group was there."

"We arrived via a chaotic gateway in Bikaner. Half the place was being renovated as it is end of the season and they clearly aren't doing any cleaning. The reception area was so dark and we got bitten within a couple of mins. The staff were miserable and not very welcoming. We were shown to a large spacious and very dark room it would have been nice albeit for the hundreds of mosquitos and the lack of cleaning. The bedding was an old blanket with a stained sheet on top not underneath. There was an external old bathroom door and loads of mosquitos came from beneath it. They offered 2 small plug ins and a coil but we could see so many we knew it wasn't possible to stay there without being bitten. I can't review the rest of the place as we left after an hour."

"I would not recommend this venue at all for hosting a marriage function. The charges are extremely high, especially considering that many services that should ideally be included in a package are billed separately. There is a clear monopoly when it comes to organizing events at this place. For functions like the Sangeet and wedding ceremony, they charge excessively for every single item, including basic arrangements and even entry-related aspects. Additionally, outside vendors are not allowed, leaving customers with no flexibility. This forces you to rely entirely on their in-house services, which are significantly overpriced. Also, they are not including all the things for event which were promised at the time of booking and used cheap products like promised to used real flowers however used artificial followers. The only positive aspect is that the location is convenient, as it is near the city and easily accessible. The property itself is also decent. However, the services provided are extremely disappointing and not at all worth the high cost. The staff behavior is particularly poor—they are uncooperative and not supportive at all. Overall, the pricing is unreasonable, the policies are restrictive, and the value for money is very poor. I would strongly advise others to explore better alternatives before making a decision."

"This is NOT a four-star hotel. They gave me an interior room on the first floor with no view so it felt like a room in a convent. When asked to upgrade no other rooms with WiFi were available. There are stains in the toilet, shower, and on the mirrors. After showering the water leaked from the shower onto the tile outside the shower despite a wall of glass. The table lamps were not working and management fixed it immediately. As for the hot water, it was scalding then quickly went cold. You can hear other guests in their rooms and the noise from courtyard. If you’re a western tourist, the bed is rock hard and you’re only given two pillows. The room service was prompt."

"We visited with my set of old parents and the entire team instantly adopted to their needs and comfort. The General Manager Mr. Rathore and his colleagues Mr. Rajveer Singh always made their presence felt and ensured that they added their fine touches. I came down with a viral infection with bouts of fever and the entire team of the palace took optimum care to make the entire family comfortable, they organised everything from a doctor to the medicines at the same time ensuring that my family still continues with their palace experiences. Their recommendations were always the best unlike any touristy hotels. The palace is an excellent specimen state time grandeur. I wish them my best and thank them for the excellent hospitality."
