"We rented 3 rooms for 2 nights, our room had no hot water for the 2 days, and the toilet did not flush, we notified maintenance but they did nothing. Our room was not cleaned or beds made for the stay. We had to find someone to let them know we wanted breakfast. No one was ever at the front desk, we had to go behind the counter to find our room key."

"I arrived tired, cold, and soaking wet. Against my usual motorcycling practices of finding a Hôtel before dark, because of the rain storm, I arrived late. The room was warm, clean & although a bit awkward- one walk of windows- I was quick to take it. Thén Alfredo told me, using Google translate, my Motorcyle had to go around the corner and down the street and count 2 other buildings. I lost my temper. It was too much for me. I said Hé could park my bike in the garage. We went back and forth verbally. In the end- I walked, investigated, Thén moved my motorcycle. Alfredo assured me it was safer and brought me a cup of tea. I slept well! Love the quality of the sheets and the choice of fan or air conditioning. In the morning I apologized and he was gracious. The Hôtel is the perfect distance to everything. Breakfast was fabulous. Definitely recommend!!! Alfredo is an outstanding employee!"

"Lovely hotel clean and friendly, nice coffee shops and hand made bags and gifts. Lovely decor and garden with a small pool and Bar. Good location close to lots of local restaurants and coffee shops. We were here in early April 25 it was hot but all room are small but have A/C and fans. Thank you for a lovely short stay."

"I have stayed at Brisas at least 4 times and every time it feels like home. It is such a cozy & comfortable place to stay. Love the breakfast! (Will need a cooking lesson at some point on the "always perfect" execution of fried eggs and pancakes.) The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and always provide whatever you need. Alfred at the front desk is the best reason to stay there. He is the nicest human you will ever meet. If you are headed to Matagalpa...look no further!"

"The hotel is close to the city centre and there are some very nice restaurants within a few minutes walk. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and was very good. There is also a small bakery/cafe serving cakes, coffee and snacks which is open most days. There is a pool and a bar with seating overlooking the pool area. The rooms are nicely decorated and have air-con and a fan. Staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again."
