"We had a wonderful 6-day stay at Hôtel du Cygne in Bracieux during a mother-daughter trip. The hotel is full of charm and very well maintained. We stayed in one of the annexes in a spacious triple room, which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, and we really appreciated the availability of a common fridge and freezer, as well as the unlimited still and sparkling water provided on site ! The location is perfect – just a 2 to 5-minute walk to several restaurants and a Proxy supermarket, and only a short drive to the famous castles of Chambord (10 minutes), Cheverny (10 minutes), and Blois (20–25 minutes). Highly recommended for a relaxing and well-situated stay in the Loire Valley! "

"A different experience. Very spacious with lots of trees. Very quiet. They have a small pool that's ok for a dip. Next door is the municipal pool, but I think that only opens May. Staff very friendly. Showers and washing facilities ok. 5 minutes walk into the village for any food shopping you need. All the tap water on site is ok to use. We drove to Blois and parked up and jumped the train to Tours, definitely worth the visit"
