Service is friendly and efficient, the food delicious. Go for the full board option since the place is rather isolated. You can camp, too. "Whenever we come to Uganda, we MUST come to The Haven! Everything is just perfect here: the food is delicious and the breakfast comes with a great variety of eggs, fruit, bread, pancakes and even Nutella! Just to name a few :-) Everyone is incredibly friendly, the service is great and the place spotless clean. And of course the view is priceless. We already look forward to coming back!"

"The place is amazing. The rooms are quite spacious..my room had two beds, one being a massive 7x7 feet. They are luxurious, each with a bath tub, TV and some overlooking both the swimming pool and River Nile. Mine, Open billed stock was one. Jinja can be hot and humid but all rooms air conditioning. You can hear the sounds of birds and the Mighty River Nile whispering as you sleep. Staff were polite, probably not the best trained but were friendly a d willing to go out of their stay to make my stay special. One of the best , finest lodges in Jinja."
