📍 Sheep Street, Burford

"A fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of character, with views of the street. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect—peaceful and picturesque, yet close to the main sights. We would love to come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area."

Travelodge Burford Cotswolds Hotel

Travelodge Burford Cotswolds Hotel ★★★

📍 Bury Barn A40, Burford

"Highly recommended. As expected the room was clean and tidy. We did not order the breakfast box as this was a huge disappointment when we stayed in a different Travelodge, but there are plenty of other breakfast options nearby, including the hotel/pub opposite. Burford itself is within walking distance from the Travelodge (down a hill). We stayed during a heatwave, there was no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room."

📍 Little Barrington, Burford

"Amazing space and food. Very generous staff. Good ROI for the service."

The Bay Tree Hotel

The Bay Tree Hotel ★★★★

📍 12 Sheep St, Burford

"The room was a beautiful suite on the second floor of a historic cottage. There was a lovely garden outside the restaurant, and the sunlight streaming in during breakfast was delightful! All three staff members were friendly and efficient. A very good stay."

Prince of Burford

Prince of Burford ★★★

📍 216 The Hill, Burford

"The location and ambiance are superb, with classic British traditional decor; however, the service is rather average. Ordering a burger in the evening takes over half an hour, and breakfast, though served individually, takes nearly an hour to prepare. The fire alarm went off loudly in the early morning!"

Burford Lodge Hotel - Adults Only
8.3 (48 reviews)

Burford Lodge Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★

📍 Oxford Road, Burford

"If you are looking for a very comfortable base to explore the cotswolds, look no further. This hotel is an absolute gem. We stayed in the verandah room, beautifully decorated, large very comfortable bed, lounge area, bath with overhead shower, immaculately clean. Had a wonderful meal Saturday night, but couldn't do it justice as very large portion. Lovely breakfast, everything you need to set you up for the day. The lady who owns the hotel is so helpful, 're local restaurants, places to visit etc. If we come back to the cotswolds will definitely stay here again."

Travelodge Burford Cotswolds Hotel ★★★
"We arrived at this hotel early as we had arranged an early check-in and was greeted by the Manager Cheryl who was very polite and professional in welcoming us to the hotel and was very helpful in providing information about the local area and ensuring we had registered our car for the stay ( the car park is run by a 3rd party company and you have to register your car on the pad in reception). The room we had was on the 1st floor and looked out to the rear of the hotel so was more shaded in the day so cooler of a night in hot weather. The room itself seemed quite clean and the bedding was clean as well. There was a small tv in the room a comfortable chair in the corner and a chair by the desk/table area with a large mirror. There was also an area to hang clothes and a couple of shelves and plenty of room to store bags or cases. The en-suite was also clean with a bath tub/ shower combo. The water pressure was good for the shower but the bathroom did get more steamy when having a shower rather than a bath The room is really what you would expect from a Travelodge hotel. The Location was excellent literally a 10 minute walk into Burford for shops bars and restaurants but please note the hill is reasonably steep when you return to the hotel from the village ( there was a sign in the village for a free car park and even though we didn't use it this might be useful for someone with mobility issues who doesn't want to walk up the hill). We found this a great location for getting around further afield as well with places like Bourton on the water and stow on the wold about 15 minutes away by car and Broadway and Diddly squat farm just a little further. The Farmers Dog was about 7 minutes drive. So for us this hotel is in a great location to get around. Just a final thank you to Cheryl who made us feel so welcome on arrival and so helpful during our stay a true star for the Travelodge Team."

"The room is a bit small but fully equipped. The waiters are very nice. The only problem is that there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage upstairs. The food in the restaurant is delicious😋"

The Royal Oak Burford ★★★
"If you want to talk to the staff don’t bother, very in polite no people experience. My husband and I went to the Royal Oak on recommendation from another couple we met in there the day before, the in experienced bar staff were extremely unfriendly, a lot of money for both food and drink over priced for the service."
