Families, who understands this feeling? Right outside the hotel, a beach instantly melts away all your worries, giving you that relaxed vibe. Right across the street are all sorts of pubs, BBQ joints, cafes, and more – super convenient! Since I was traveling alone, I chose a small, semi-ocean view room. Though small, it had everything I needed, kind of like a guesthouse. The balcony next to the bed, when you open the door, offers a direct view of Gwangalli Bridge. At night, you can even capture beautiful nightscapes, watching people stroll on the beach – very therapeutic. The room provides toiletries, so no worries there! However, remember to bring a travel adapter for your plugs.

The hotel shares a building with a restaurant and bar, offering very open and expansive views. The downside is that non-guests frequently use the elevators, but thankfully the hotel has security measures in place, requiring a room card scan to access guest room floors. I booked a partial sea view room and requested one closer to the sea, but was given a room closer to the back alley, which was a bit disappointing. The room's cleanliness and facilities were good, and the shower pressure was strong, but the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, which could use some improvement. Lastly, I bought two cakes from the café, and one of them had gone bad. This is something both the hotel and guests should be aware of, especially since it involves food safety.

The hotel's location right by the beach was fantastic, and the service was really satisfying. The hotel only occupied the third floor of the building, and while the cleanliness could have been better due to a few hairs and some dust, I was still happy with the value for money.

The hotel is very close to the beach, so the view from the window is great, and the surrounding area is convenient. However, check-in is strictly at 3 PM. Even a minute early is not allowed. Everyone has to wait until 3 PM, so the lobby was full of people waiting. It felt a bit impersonal. Also, the blue light from the air conditioner couldn't be turned off and was very bright. One of the room lights was also broken and stayed on, which really affected my sleep. On the last day, I paid an extra 100 RMB for breakfast. The variety was very limited and quite mediocre – not worth the price.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we were looking for accommodation to enjoy the night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge. When we arrived, it was even cleaner than expected, and there were so many great restaurants nearby, which was fantastic. I especially loved the beautiful view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge right outside our window! The owner was also very kind. I was so pleased that I'd love to visit again next time. ^^

The air conditioning was incredibly noisy; I had to turn it off before bed or I couldn't sleep. Being right by the street, I could hear motorcycles roaring by all night, which was also really loud. However, the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the beach right downstairs. The window view was also lovely. Service: The front desk staff were great too. The information sheet said extra water bottles cost 1000 KRW, and since we were too lazy to go to a convenience store, we went to the front desk to buy some. The front desk guy said we didn't have to pay for it.

First, the good points: The location is great, and the hygiene is good. Overall, there was no mold or strange smells, the sheets and pillowcases were clean, and the mattress was a little soft but acceptable. Now for some major, major issues: 1. The air conditioner vent blows directly onto the head of the bed (this is the case in every room type! You can see it in the photos the hotel provides). You can't adjust the fan speed or the direction of the vents! It blew so hard at night that I got a headache and couldn't sleep! 2. There's no one at the front desk from 12 AM to 5 AM! They can't resolve any of your problems! 3. If you feel cold because of the AC blowing on you, their solution is to tell you to turn on the dehumidifier (what's the use? Dehumidifiers also have a fan!). 4. When I said that because of the AC problem, they should give me an extra blanket (we had a double bed, but it was so cold, we needed two blankets to cover our heads and sleep!), the front desk told me an extra blanket would cost 30,000 Korean Won. (In the end, after I argued my case, the hotel did provide it for free). 5. There's a vent on the ceiling directly above the head of the bed that leaks even when it's off. I was sleeping and water started dripping down. The front desk's solution was to wipe it with a cloth, then turn on the vent for an hour and then turn it off. I had to go out in the middle of the night because the vent was so loud I couldn't sleep. 6. On the first day of check-in, the front desk told me breakfast could only be delivered to the room between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and no other times. However, the next day, when I said I needed to check out early and wanted breakfast delivered at 8 AM, another front desk staff member agreed. If there isn't actually such a breakfast time rule, then this is a service attitude problem with the first staff member, who indeed made me feel very uncomfortable and discriminated against throughout my stay! If there is such a rule, it's very inconvenient for guests! Guests leaving early can't eat, and guests waking up late can only eat cold food, as the hotel doesn't provide insulation. 7. For breakfast, you can choose between Korean and ********* style. The first front desk staff didn't actively inform me about the breakfast options, and the next morning I ate seafood porridge, but I'm allergic to seafood. When I was checking out and picking up my luggage, I overheard the same front desk staff clearly explaining the breakfast options to Korean guests! 8. There are no blackout curtains. If you're sensitive to light and might wake up, be sure to bring an eye mask! 9. The air conditioner is very noisy, regardless of the mode. If you have trouble sleeping, remember to bring earplugs! In short, I slept and ate poorly. That's all.

I booked the cheapest room, which was compact (suitable for one person), but it was very clean. The bathroom was also clean, and the amenities were complete and very secure. The service was good. There's a 7-Eleven near the hotel, and you can walk straight to the beach from the end of the alley.

This hotel in Gwangalli, facing Gwangalli Beach directly across the road, boasts an unbeatable location! Whether it's enjoying the azure sea and sandy beach during the day or admiring the illuminated Gwangandaegyo Bridge at dusk, the experience is truly exceptional. The hotel's public lobby and lounge on the 15th floor feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. You don't need to book an expensive sea-view room; you can enjoy the complete night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge without obstruction from the common areas. Imagine feeling the sea breeze while watching the bridge lights gradually change at night – it's perfect for those viral social media photos, making every shot a masterpiece. This hotel truly offers one of the best bridge views in Gwangalli. The most famous feature is undoubtedly the Instagram-famous elevator! As soon as the elevator doors open, you're greeted with a direct view of the entire sea and beach. You can enjoy the sea view throughout your elevator ride up and down, offering a truly unique visual experience with high photo opportunities. Most guests staying here in Gwangalli will definitely check out this elevator spot. ✅ Pros: 1. **Unbeatable Location**: Downstairs, you'll find countless BBQ restaurants, seafood eateries, coffee shops, and GS25 convenience stores, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach for a stroll or to enjoy the sea, and close to popular restaurants and the seaside night market. 2. **Excellent Cleanliness**: The rooms are spotless and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and toiletries are well-stocked. All basic living facilities are well-maintained. 3. **Friendly Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff are friendly and communicative in simple English. They are patient with luggage storage and route inquiries. 4. **Thoughtful Public Area Design**: The lounge chairs by the window with comfortable sofas are perfect for relaxation. It's incredibly therapeutic to just sit and gaze at the sea all afternoon without having to leave the hotel. Minor Drawbacks: 1. **Compact Room Size**: The overall room space is on the smaller side, typical for compact coastal hotels in Korea. Once large luggage is opened, the movement space can be quite limited. Those who require larger room sizes should consider carefully. 2. **Limited Elevators**: There's only one main elevator in the main building, so wait times can be long during peak check-in and check-out hours. If you have a tight schedule, factor in extra time for elevator waits. 3. **Street Noise**: Rooms facing the street might experience slight noise from traffic and people. Light sleepers might want to request a higher floor in advance. Summary and Recommendation: If your main purpose for visiting Gwangalli is to enjoy the sea view, photograph the Gwangandaegyo Bridge at night, and explore seaside delicacies, this hotel is definitely your top choice! Its ambiance, scenic views, and convenient location are unparalleled. The minor drawbacks are acceptable. For those seeking an Instagram-worthy sea-view elevator, stunning night views of the bridge, and a relaxing getaway, look no further. I would definitely rebook this hotel on my next trip to Busan.

First off, the owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. I had to change my reservation, and they handled it so graciously. What's more, it's more spacious than a capsule hotel, and instead of partitions, the private rooms are separated by actual walls. The facilities are brand new and absolutely excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for business travelers and solo adventurers.

The view was lovely from my room, it was really clean, it was spacious enough and the bed was great, it was firm and supportive so we both had great sleep.. It's opposite the beach with easy access and is about a 15/20minute walk from the nearest station. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around. Breakfast is nice, a variety of proteins, carbs, cereal and you enjoy the view from the balcony. The staff are helpful and respectful. They also provide a machine and dryer and the detergent which was a nice bonus. The only thing was trying to find the hotel initially, it was a little tricky. It's in a large building with two sets of lifts only the B lift will take you there and depending on which entrance you take it's not entirely clear that there is a second lift as there is about a 20m walk between the two, which restaurants in-between. There is also another hotel with a very similar name - so double check lol that aside it was lovely and I'd stay again for sure.

As I stayed over the weekend, I was fortunate to catch the drone show held on the beach on Saturday and had a great view of it. Although we had a side-on view, which made some formations a little difficult to make out, it was nice to avoid the crowds. There was a live band playing on the beach, which was a bit loud, but they wrapped up around 10 PM, so it wasn't really an issue. The high ceilings and a spacious terrace made the room feel very open and comfortable. The only slight drawback of the terrace was that we could easily hear conversations from the next room, so we had to be a little considerate. While the front desk staff seemed to change frequently, everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful. I spoke in Korean, but I gathered that basic English would also be sufficient for communication. Toothbrushes are not provided in the room but can be purchased at the front desk if needed. However, bathrobes, towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided. A kettle and hairdryer are also available. From the nearest subway station, it's about a 20-minute walk, even though the path is flat. For those with larger luggage that might not fit on a local bus, a taxi would be a better option.

While I didn't use many of the hotel's facilities beyond the room, I can say the location was excellent. It was relatively close to the station and just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach, where we even enjoyed a drone show at night. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, so we had no trouble finding places to eat dinner outside. With convenience stores and cafes in the bustling area, getting around by bus or train was also very easy. Upon entering the hotel, there was a distinctive, somewhat Asian-inspired incense scent. It might not be for everyone, but I personally found it calming and pleasant. Our room was very clean and, while average in size, perfectly sufficient for two people. The raised platform where the bed was located, allowing for free movement around it, was a fun and playful touch that I enjoyed. The room also had a stylish audio system for playing LP records, which was great for relaxing and unwinding. I also appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate, which was very convenient. The front desk staff were consistently kind and attentive, and we had no issues during our stay. They were always smiling when we asked questions or sought advice, which was reassuring. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values a great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent staff service.

None of the staff spoke Japanese, but we all used translators and the staff were all very kind! I was a bit worried about the dark, double-glazed windows, but there are a lot of markets around, so I wonder if they might smell?! There was no smell inside the room or the hotel, and it was clean! There were a lot of restaurants around and shops that were open late at night, which was great! It was far from the station, so I mostly got around by taxi and occasionally by bus!

The good thing is the room doesn't smell like cigarettes, unlike others. It's a tiny room. We stayed for 1 night but it's pricey. The sink is a bit clogged. And the towel has a stain. They have a machine (steamer, drying, sterilizer) for clothes, I love that. I didn't take a picture because we were in a hurry.
