"Great location, just a short walk from Haeundae Station. There's a convenience store on the first floor and the front desk is on the sixth. The staff at check-in were really friendly and helpful. Check-out was easy, just drop the key card in the return box. They also have a luggage storage area. The room was clean and tidy, with a shower (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided) and a sink (with soap). *Note: Toothbrushes and pajamas are not provided. The room also had a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, rice cooker, and dining table set. The bed was queen-sized with power outlets and USB ports by the headboard. I was traveling alone, so it felt very spacious and comfortable."

"Everything about this hotel was great, with the sole exception of the room size. Truly, it was all positives! Being a Japanese chain hotel, I expected the rooms to be small, but it was perfectly adequate for two people and didn't hinder our activities at all. The location is absolutely fantastic, incredibly close to the train station – literally just across the street. You can even see the train station from the hotel, and the tracks from our room. The staff were all wonderful. The front desk attendant was enthusiastic and attentive. The ladies in the second-floor breakfast restaurant were constantly greeting guests and thanking them. When we discovered the kettle in our room was broken, we called the front desk, and they immediately apologized. A staff member then promptly knocked on our door to deliver a brand-new, still-boxed kettle, again apologizing for the inconvenience. We were so grateful! There's also a self-service laundry machine on the first floor. When we first struggled to use it, a staff member came right over to show us how. This washing machine was amazing – shirts came out completely dry, perfectly spun, and incredibly crisp, without a single wrinkle. They looked as good as new, as if they'd just been ironed. This machine is truly magical. The breakfast on the second floor was also excellent. Even though it was busy every day, there were always empty seats, and the food variety changed daily, including some Korean specialties. We left breakfast feeling very full and satisfied. The location is convenient for getting anywhere; we could reach Nampo and Seomyeon by subway in no time. We had a perfect two days here and slept very comfortably. We messed up the room as soon as we checked in, so I didn't take any photos. All in all, this hotel is flawless, with no downsides except for the slightly small room."

"The location was great, but 50,000 won for parking? That's ridiculous. Even public parking lots only charge 30,000 won per day. Plus, the owner's tone in such a small space was really off-putting. I definitely won't be going back. It was a very unpleasant experience."
Busan Gwangalli Hotel the Hommme
"The rooms were clean in general but this is NOT a hotel that is thoughtful. I might be biased because it was high season and I was paying around US$140 a night for a premium room, but it was definitely not worth the price at all. -The majority of the hotel staff were very friendly, except for one gent who worked the late hours and checked me in. I walked into a room that was boiling hot and as I headed out for dinner, I demanded another room keycard so that I can leave the AC on. He said it's against the policy and after much debate, he agreed to issue one card. The next day, the same guy demanded the second card back and said I may check out and cancel the booking if I refused. Walking in every time past the reception to my room to see his unfriendliness was extremely unpleasant. Again, everyone else was very cordial. -Loose tiles on the floor, again not what you'd expect in a premium room -NO bath towels, only face towels. They did supply me with enough and more face towels, but that's not what you want after bathing. -NO floor mats or floor towels: The shower cubicle doesn't have a door and was flooding the entire bathroom floor. When I asked for a floor towel the same gent said it's only the face towels they'd got. So I had to use those to obstruct water overflowing into the basin area. -I've stayed at budget hotels before too, and I've seen many that are very thoughtful in design, but this hotel isn't one of them. Location is okay,at the far end of the gwangalli beach area, but if you don't mind a 10-20 minute walk to the popular cafes/bars/public transport, this works just fine. Generally if these were a US$50-$70 room, my ratings would have been better."

"The hotel was conveniently located right by Songjeong Beach, next to the railway, which gave it a charming and unique vibe. The breakfast, though not extensive in variety, was delicious and satisfying. Plus, the ocean view was absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a good value family hotel, Songjeong Ola Hotel is an excellent choice. The parking facilities are generally good, but it seemed like it could get tight when the hotel is fully booked. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again."

"I stayed here over the weekend, and it seemed like most of the nearby rooms were also fully booked. However, because it's a residential-style hotel, the noise from upstairs or next door, like in an apartment building, was quite bothersome, and I couldn't really relax. I could clearly hear footsteps thumping, whether it was from the room above or next door, and I even woke up to them in the morning. I could also hear furniture being dragged around. Since the rooms have hardwood floors and no slippers are provided, the sound of people walking heavily echoes throughout. If you're sensitive to noise, please keep this in mind when booking. I think it was even worse for me because all the rooms above and next to mine were occupied."

"Traveled with my girlfriend!! It was a surprise until we arrived, haha. Seeing how much she loved it as soon as we got there made me so happy. First off, the location is unbeatable – all the famous local restaurants are within walking distance. The moment you open the door, you're greeted by a luxurious interior. The bed was really big and comfortable. There's even a washing machine and a dryer. We had dinner nearby and then used the pool at night – it felt so private and the water was wonderfully warm. Next time, I'd love to try a suite. 100% would visit again! Highly recommend!!"

The only issue we found (I know this isn’t the hotels issue) was that it was quite far from tourist attractions, it was about 1 hour on the metro. However the metro stop is close and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby."

"Took the airport bus to Haeundae Beach, then walked about 10 minutes following navigation. The back entrance is a bit hard to spot (took a wrong turn...), but the front entrance is convenient for taxis. Check-in, check-out, and cleaning are all self-service. It seems the hotel only provides disposable amenities during your stay and no room cleaning, which is different from other places. 😅"
