Crowne Plaza PENANG STRAITS CITY by IHG ★★★★★
"The environment is excellent, very clean, and the air is fresh. The location is also great, quite spacious. It felt like there was a purpose at one point, but that's not important. The most important thing is that the whole family is happy together!"
De' Garden Hotel, Butterworth ★★★
"Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable, and the overall experience was great. Highly recommended."
Chariton Hotel Butterworth ★★
"overall stay is good. As my room is facing the main road so noise of bypass traffic is quite loud."
Chariton Hotel Bagan ★★
"The hotel is reasonably clean. There is hot water downstairs n also kettle in room. Location is a bit quiet."
The Bagan Suite ★★
"Good location & good stay for business trip"
Aroma Hotel ★★★

Grand Bagan Hotel ★★
"Good location and have adequate parking."
SE NEW FERRY HOTEL ★★
"The water heater in the first room I checked into was broken, only providing cold water, so I had to change rooms. The staff member gave me a new room. The room I was given had no windows and was right next to the elevator, so the noise made it hard to sleep. It wasn't a pleasant experience."
Surprised Homestay by uBook ★
"The host is very responsive. It is recommended for those without small children. The environment is the same as in the picture."

CP Inn Hotel
"Great location, many restaurants nearby The hotel itself is very old, there is no elevator, and it is not recommended for travelers with large luggage. The color of the sheets is very inconsistent with the room walls and floor. I don't like the color of the toilet floor tiles. The floor will be very slippery after taking a shower. The sanitary conditions are average. The soundproofing of the room is very poor, and the sound of the TV in the next room can be heard."

Lovers under Cupid's Arrow
"The check-in process was a bit complicated because there were no clear instructions to stop the car and register at the security post first. The security staff also had poor communication during the check-in process, which made things confusing. In terms of amenities, the lighting in the living room was too dim, and the water heater was not functioning. Because of this, we were unable to enjoy a warm bath during our stay. Anyhow, the place is clean and in good location to jalan2 around Butterworth or Sungai Petani."

"The boss is nice, the room is clean, highly recommended"

Peace Casa - Homely & Cosy
"We recently stayed at this homestay with our family over the weekend, and overall it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is very convenient and easy to access, and the property itself is quite spacious, which made it comfortable for a family stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around and relax. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The mattresses were quite hard, which made it difficult for some of us to get a good night’s rest. Additionally, there were a number of unused tools and items around the house that were not properly stored, which made the space feel cluttered rather than welcoming. One major concern was finding leftover pork in the freezer. As Muslim guests, this was quite uncomfortable and felt inconsiderate. It’s important for hosts to ensure that the property is thoroughly cleaned and that all food items are cleared before new guests arrive, out of respect for different backgrounds and sensitivities. With better attention to cleanliness, storage, and guest considerations, this homestay has the potential to offer a much better experience."
