"Good Location and Hospitality, but Hot Water & Water Quality Need Attention I stayed at Hotel Avenue, Butwal on two separate nights — once while travelling towards Pokhara and again on my return journey. The hotel’s location is probably its biggest advantage, especially for travellers driving to Pokhara. It is a convenient place to stop overnight on the way to Pokhara, and equally useful for taking a rest on the return journey before continuing to your final destination the next day. The food quality was excellent, and the staff were very polite, courteous, and helpful throughout both my stays. Their hospitality was definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. However, there was one significant issue that affected my experience. On both occasions, the geyser/hot water in the bathroom was not working. When we informed the hotel staff, we were told that there was some issue with the geyser/electricity which could not be resolved during our stay. They did try to help by providing a large kettle to warm water, which I appreciate, but unfortunately, the water itself was very muddy on the second stay, making it difficult for us to use the bathroom or take a proper bath. We eventually had to leave the hotel without being able to bathe. Overall, Hotel Avenue has a very convenient location, excellent food, and genuinely courteous staff. If the hotel addresses the hot-water system and, more importantly, ensures clean and usable water in the bathrooms, it could be a much better experience for travellers. I would still consider staying here again because of its location and hospitality, but I hope the water-related issues are properly resolved."
