I stayed here for three nights. I think the location is good. In addition, the rooms were clean. The food, including the breakfast, was average or worse. For all the three days, they served almost the same breakfast. Why do I think it was a terrible experience? While some of the staff were hospitable and attentive, many I think were rather cold, insensitive and uncooperative. Let me give an example: during one of these evenings, I wanted some medicines. I called the reception, and I am pretty sure that the staff taking the call knew that I was sick. I asked him if he could get me some medicines to which he responded positively. I waited for almost an hour, but I was told later that it was too late to get medicines. Shockingly, they could not get me the medicines the next morning too. I later googled for the nearest pharmacies, called one of these sellers for the location (which was almost next door) and then sent a hotel staff to get it. I think there was still a degree of reluctance to go out and get the meds. Was this due to say a policy that the hotel staff does not go out? Not sure. But imagine yourself as solo travelers, receiving this kind of treatment? I almost felt I was dealing with robots rather than humans. Let me also bring to light another disaster: they hosted a late-night party at their bar which was adjoining my room. For nearly six hours between 9 pm and 3 am, there was way too much noise for me to be able to sleep. While they did offer me a room change after I complained several times, I was sick and did not feel like packing things to move to another room. What was the hotel response to the issue and how did they try and address/compensate for the issue? Well, they did nothing. In other words, these guys seem to only know 'business' in its crudest sense. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I think there was still a degree of reluctance to go out and get the meds. Was this due to say a policy that the hotel staff does not go out? Not sure. But imagine yourself as solo travelers, receiving this kind of treatment? I almost felt I was dealing with robots rather than humans. Let me also bring to light another disaster: they hosted a late-night party at their bar which was adjoining my room. For nearly six hours between 9 pm and 3 am, there was way too much noise for me to be able to sleep. While they did offer me a room change after I complained several times, I was sick and did not feel like packing things to move to another room. What was the hotel response to the issue and how did they try and address/compensate for the issue? Well, they did nothing. In other words, these guys seem to only know 'business' in its crudest sense. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
