"Have you ever heard of afternoon tea served with Scones with the jam and cream already on the scone. Excuse me but how do you know that everybody likes jam and cream on their scones. Have had afternoon tea's all over the UK even in Kensington Palace but never with the jam and cream already on. We didn't eat them as we don't like jam piled on our scones quite disgusting really. You need to get with the Programme and serve the jam and cream in separate pots. Needless to say we will not be returning "

"We had a good weekend here, the room was clean and comfy. Ground floor but still great views of the mountains. The only thing I would say is that the continental breakfast is only cereal, yoghurt and some fruit, no pastries, croissants or anything else so if you need a bit more, there is a small coffee shop,next door and they open about 9 with delicious bagels filled with all kinds."

"Beautiful location. Owner was very friendly and helpful. My husband stayed in luxury room with Seaview. He was on a business trip. They made his stay very comfortable. Parking was sorted from the moment he arrived. I would give 5* to the hotel service and overall stay."

"We went to The Gunroom Restaurant at Plas Dinas Country House for a 40th Birthday celebration and it could not have been more perfect! From start to finish the experience was just incredible!! The staff went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. All the food was simply stunning but the Lamb starter was just an amazing, melt in your mouth, experience. I would recommend and do recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to have a first class, good value meal."

"A beautiful place, the setting is simply spectacular. Beddgelert is a lovely little Welsh village not far from Yr Wyddfa, and this hotel did not disappoint in any way. The bathroom was spotless with lovely amenities, nothing out of place. The included breakfast was ample but cooked to order items are also available. Quick walk or drive to the village, where at least three pubs offer good food options. Excellent hotel with an excellent, friendly staff."
