Painter's Lodge ★★★

"The hotel supposed to have a restaurant and pub but both were closed because the management was transferred to a new owner. It seems that the hotel does now longer belong to the Wyndham group. Upon check-in, the receptionist informed us that 'breakfast will be served in the hotel lounge". However, 'served' meant that a brown paper bag was handed over, and breakfast turned out to be a muffin, a candy bar, a box of juice and two manderins. They put a tiny coffee machine in the lounge so guests had to stand in line to make their own coffee. The answer to my complaint on checking out was that they couldn't get everything ready after transfer of management 4 weeks earlier. How hard can it be to organise a breakfast? Unacceptable!"

Comfort Inn & Suites ★★★

"The room is quite clean and spacious with a microwave oven and coffee machine. We like breakfast, which has enough choices for us. The location is great, and there are a number of restaurants around. The staff team is helpful and friendly."

Anchor Inn and Suites ★★★

"Very nice hotel, sea view room"

Heron's Landing Hotel ★★★

"We really liked the location and ghe beautiful ocean view. The parking was so convenient. Great king size bed... so comfy with a wonderful breakfast selection."

Ramada by Wyndham Campbell River ★★★

"The man that assisted me with check-in was very helpful by offering me a room more suitable for my needs. This is an older property that has had work on the outside to look very nice. The inside of the room I was in could use some more work. For the price and location it was a very acceptable stay."
