"Unfortunately, our vacation at this truly excellent property has just ended. It's small, family-run, but truly top-notch. The rooms are always meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. The spa is truly remarkable and beautiful. The staff is very courteous, friendly, and available to accommodate any request. Much credit and many compliments to the CHEF for his skill, professionalism, and taste in the preparation of his dishes, both in flavor and presentation. Everything was truly excellent! Finally, thanks to the owner for the entire atmosphere and the staff, and for his constant presence throughout the hotel. A wonderful discovery in Val di Fassa, and I would highly recommend it to all mountain lovers, both summer and winter. THANK YOU!"

"The double room and en-suite bathroom were fine, with a little private balcony outside the room with the view of the forest on one side and the view of the hotel breakfast room with people eating on the other side. The issue with this hotel, the only big one, was that the parking was supposed to be there and free, unfortunately there was no parking at all!! They receptionist told us to park in the private parking of the private residents building opposite the hotel and when I asked ‘ what happens if the police take away our car? Will the hotel be responsible?’, of course she said no! As there was absolutely no parking at all around the hotel area, we parked were the receptionist told us but we didn’t have a good night sleep at all, thinking about the car park! So our stay here for one night was ruined. This hotel has no free parking available for all their customers, even if you let them know in advance ( they may have a couple of parking spaces, but it’s a lotto to get one!). So if you decide to stay here, we aware of this if you’re coming by car."

"Just returned from a week stay half board at this hotel & was very happy. The hotel is a little remote, but ski bus 4 stops directly outside & it’s only a 3 minute walk down hill to the mail ski bus stop for the larger busses. The hotel is located only a few minutes drive from the ALBA lift, so no long drive to the slopes, I stayed in a single room, and although snug it served its purpose, bed was made every day, clean towels & a thermostat on the wall controlled the radiator (big enough to dry jacket & gloves & the bathroom also had a heated towel rad, there was a double wardrobe & draws = plenty of storage aswell as bedside cabinet. You are allocated a seat in the restaurant on arrival that will have your room number on it for the duration of your stay, at breakfast your supplied with a form to fill out to select that evening’s meals (similar to if you have ever stayed in hospital) the food was a very high standard, breakfast is a self service buffet with lots of different cereals, pastries & cured meats available (scrambled eggs is the only Hot option) the Evening meal has a choice of 4 started & main options to pick from. There is a bar area for socialising & a 400ml Larger cost €6, often free crisps/snacks were given with your drinks. There is not much of an Apres scene locally so be aware if this is your thing, this location will not suit. I got the bus to Pera 1 evening to meet with friends (had some nice restaurants & bars) but it was a €40 taxi return that I had to wait an hour for. The staff & friendly & helpful There is a wellness Centre in the basement, Jacuzzi steam bath, sauna and relaxation beds, this was included in my room rate, there is a second basement where the ski storage drying room is with heated boot racks. if you’re after a lively bustling hotel in a good apres area, this is not for you, if you’re after comfort good food in a warm comfy room with views to die for from your balcony close to the slopes you can’t go wrong."

"We had a lovely time at the Al Sole, 3 couples plus two grandchildren.2 year olds. fabulous rooms, cheery helpful reception, good food in the restaurant with hugely entertaining staff. great spa and pool area and a lovely Nanny, Frederika after 330 in the baby club. Rocky the waiter / Maitre 'd in the restaurant was a Manuel figure who couldn't have tried harder. Great location, 100 yds from the end of the piste and a 5 min walk to the gondola. would highly recommend"
