"this hotel was brilliant. exceptional pool & location in the heart of Carmona are the highlights. highly recommend as a getaway only 35 minutes from Seville & an opportunity to see the real Andalusia outside of tourist attractions. staff were all very accommodating. the Tabanco restaurant aside the pool was also class & they catered to both vegetarian & coeliac requirements with ease. the interior design & rooms aren’t especially modern, with some 90s style amenities, this adds to the character & culture of the hotel. the courtyard & pool stand as an attraction in & of themselves. we couldn’t have had a better stay here."

"I highly recommend Hostal Comercio. First, it's super well located. It's literally built into the old walls of the city, right next to the Puerta de Sevilla (Seville Gate). You are right in the middle of town! Second, the rooms are comfortable and cozy. My single room was small, but super clean with a clean and functional bathroom. I also had a nice little balcony overlooking the plaza out front. Lots of old world charm in both the rooms and lobby. Third, and most of all, I recommend this place because of the wonderful owners. This hostal has been in their family for generations and they lovingly maintain it. They are kind and considerate. If you speak Spanish and you're lucky, you may also get to hear some wonderful stories from the gentleman owner. He's charming and funny. It was my privilege to stay there!"

"The bedrooms are large, the facilities are plentiful, and if you plan again, maybe staying here for two nights is even better than Westville, because of the castle, the room walls must be thick enough to not hear other residents noise, sleep very well at night. In the morning other people go in and out and close the door of the room vigorously there is no way. Especially commendable is the hotel restaurant, both dinner and breakfast quality is very high variety. Highly recommend staying at this place"

"I loved super beautiful room 😍😍.. I was glad and everything very clean ...I arrived at the right time q check-in time was over but still when I called the q I attended was super friendly and I suggest q do to get to the room no more q there was no one at reception ...lo super recommend,only q if you are looking for stay from Sevilla center because it stays at about 25 minutes by car from there ...e video taken and from there I took the photos q I can't post the video the super beau entry but don't take video or photo"

Hotel Servilia ★★

"We booked a room for three and it was situated at the top of two flights of stairs. Once we opened the door we were met by an overpowering smell of air freshener/cleaning products (I am not sure) but it was terrible. We needed to open all the windows and the door. We discovered the bathroom was the source of smell, and air freshener was being used to cover it up. The extra bed was beside the bathroom and the smell was intense. The bathroom was very small. Roof terrace is pretty much unusable, tiny metal chairs and no cushions. The three water jugs to make coffee in the small area on ground floor which is described as - Bar- were empty and there wasn’t any other water source. I would not recommend booking the family room, I had a headache from the smell, and the two flights of stairs would make it unsuitable for small children. No contact with any staff, no one in reception. Location is excellent."

Posada la Casa Del Pintor ★★

"If you are interested in art, culture, history, and authenticity, then La Casa del Pintor is for you. A wonderful location in one of Carmona’s characteristic narrow lanes, it is close to all the major sites, but also a quiet oasis for a relaxing siesta. The house is of traditional design and built around a charming central courtyard. There are six rooms, similar in character, and with well appointed bathrooms. We stayed in Granada, which was on the first floor - very comfortable and welcoming. Guests have the use of a roof terrace, two kitchens and three salons - all well equipped and full of antiques and eclectic furnishings. It feels like a home away from home, and quite unlike any other hotel we have stayed in. By far the best part of the stay was the warm welcome from Conchita and the really wonderful service from Eva. Eva came in every morning to prepare breakfast (a very Spanish spread), and to service the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went above and beyond to be helpful, including making a phone call for us, and leaving food out for us on the our last morning when we had to leave early. We felt very spoilt by her and we shall miss her! Highly recommended for history loving travellers."

"AVOID this property at all costs, the owner/manager is rude. Told me if I go to the hotel they will call the police all because my flight was delayed. Disgusting service, she was screaming at me down the phone and told me that she didn’t need my money however refused my booking and refused my refund. Scam scam scam"
