St George Hotel Rochester-Chatham ★★★

"Good value for the price I paid. You need to get an entry code number from reception before gaining entry to the parking at the rear of the hotel. The hotel no longer serves a cooked breakfast but I found the continental breakfast sufficient."

Holiday Inn ROCHESTER - CHATHAM by IHG ★★★★

"My family and I had a lovely time at the Holiday Inn. The service was excellent , the food was great and amenities fantastic."

Travelodge Chatham Maritime ★★★

"I stayed for business for 9 nights. I was allocated room 421 and upon checking the bedroom I notice bugs on the headboard, then when I checked the bedding there were bugs on the sheet, pillows, duvet and on the floor. There was another bed in the room, which also had bugs in it. I advised reception who took photos and said they would file a report and to follow the link in an email I received from customer services. I completed the form that I received from customer services, only to be told that bed bugs are common this time of year in hotels. I raised the question how housekeeping had not seen this. Hotels have a legal obligation under common law and consumer legislation to ensure rooms are fit for habitation. Renting a room infested with blood-feeding parasites is a direct breach of this contract, which I informed Travelodge customer services. My complaint is still unresolved, even though health and safety and duty of care legislation has been breached."
