Chichester Inn ★★★
Crouchers Hotel ★★★★
"We visited this hotel for a couples getaway and cannot recommend it enough! All staff are very helpful and attentive and we had a delicious cooked breakfast in the restaurant. Our favourite part was having a drink on our private patio, I would recommend getting a garden room."
Northlands Farm & Lakes ★★★★
"We are just back from the Easter Event, at Northlands farm. A great experience with plenty of activities, & friendly staff. Easter egg trail enjoyed by our Granddaughter. Would definitely recommend a visit there. Thank you to all, for a lovely fun day."
The Selsey Arms ★★★★
"Very warm welcome for the stuff, spacious and well appointed room, comfy bed and great bathroom and shower. Breakfast was also top notch - highly recommend"
The Cottage ★★★
"Very good, very good"
Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park) ★★★
"Excellent location for a visit to Chichester, rooms priced at good Value and always clean, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast nice in the mornings , if having breakfast avoid 9am as at it’s busiest. If staying in Chichester stay here. Lots of food outlets nearby also for choice if just grabbing some takeaway for the family. We will be back next time in Chichester."
The Horse and Groom Inn ★★★★
"The Horse and Groom is a boutique experience for would-be country gentry. Accommodation is set back from a run-through road across a walled courtyard and at its nearest, behind a shared corridor, so you never feel disturbed by the passing traffic. Private ensuite had own-branded toiletries, shelf space and mirrors aplenty. There was also lots of storage in the room (although no wardrobe nor dresser, which may present a problem for some). The addition of a Nespresso machine certainly made me feel indulged as it's quite the pick-up. WiFi connected and operated speedily and easily. As with many picturesque settings, network coverage here is patchy, so check with your provider if that's an issue. Menu set out for a range of tastes; the dishes I hadwere exquisitely cooked. Confit Pork belly crunchtop, tender meat in a porcine jus. Like starters, similarly luxurious which made an able lunch, Pork cheek with butternut squash puree, taste is full yet unlike most establishments, also filling. However. Before booking, I phoned to verify and was assured the Horse and Groom catered for a wide range of dietary requirements and any dish could be adapted accordingly. This proved not to be the case however, as having issues with both gluten and dairy, only one main would suit me as is. For example, I asked about the fishcake and was told it was pre-mixed (with diary cheese) and could not be adapted. When I protested, 'that's not what I was told,' my server assured me that indeed was the case. Fortunately for me, I hadn't pre-paid for dinners when booking, so encountering some very nearby places who comfortably accommodated my needs, for evening meals I ate there instead. Caveat emptor I would advise anyone booking; but for this annoyance, I would have given the Horse and Groom 5*. If you have no or limited dietary issues, the Horse and Groom is the place for you. Overall this was a pleasant and satisfying stay. The insulation between rooms was reasonable so I could sleep and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in staying away. Service is friendly and, within typical experience, they are keen to satisfy the customer. That they were available to book when many were not was, I suppose, a bonus in itself."

The Fox Goes Free
"I would heartily recommend The Fox Goes Free - it’s a beautiful old pub in a stunning location, so makes a great destination whether you’ve been out exploring the South Downs or just wanting to go somewhere lovely to eat. Our food was, in the main, exceptional. Some of the best pub food we’ve had - sensational pie and wonderful fish & chips. I said “in the main”, as we did have an issue with one of our dishes, which wasn’t cooked correctly. Whilst this is understandable especially at a busy time, it wasn’t really improved on being returned at our request to the kitchen. Usually a dish which was less than fantastic would dampen my experience and review score, however the manner in which the waitress (and management) dealt with the issue was nothing short of exceptional. Upon collecting the plates, she noticed that the dish in question hadn’t been eaten, asked if it was any better after being sent back, apologised profusely, asked if we’d like anything else instead, and didn’t charge for it. The measure of a hospitality establishment isn’t how they deal with everything when it’s going well, rather it’s how they deal with an issue without it becoming a problem, and The Fox Goes Free scores top makers here. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you."
La B&B
"Our host asked us to please remove our shoes in the hallway. We were happy to oblige, as they provide basic slippers to wear indoors. This policy helps them keep the house spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful room overlooking the garden. Shower was excellent. You can eat as much cereal and toast as you like in addition to a lovely cooked breakfast. The house is well situated for walking into Chichester or to Fishbourne Romsn Palace, but also handy for Portsmouth, Petworth, Arundel, the beautiful Chichester Channel and the coast. The town has plenty of nice restaurants and every village seems to boast a pub which does good food. My only gripe is that the wash basin is rather too small."
Little Orchard Bed and Breakfast Chichester
"A wonderful place to stay what a find!! I give this b and b 5 stars. The atmosphere kerry and jamie have created is amazing. Bedrooms tastefully decorated dining area so beautiful as is the guest lounge. Can't recommend it enough if you're thinking of coming to The area please stay here you will be amazed."
The Beach House
"My daughter and son surprised my husband and I for our special birthdays to a weekend in this B & B. It was without a doubt the best B & B we have stayed in. They have really thought about their guest, guest with families and those with dogs. The breakfast was outstanding, with everything on offer that you could possibly think off. Our family had organised for our friends to stay, so we had the whole B & B, nothing was too much. We without any doubt will be returning- Big thanks to Pam and Co. X"
