"Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again."

"I stayed at this inn with a friend on a Friday night trip to Chichibu. The corridors are very narrow and the ceilings are low, but the rooms are spacious and clean. The windows are large, and it's a bit scary at night because the forest is so close, but it's very refreshing in the morning. It's inconvenient that there's no toilet or sink in the room. The bath is more like a slightly larger home bathroom than a hot spring. The walls of the room seem to be thin, as the front desk called us while we were laughing and talking. Also, the TV and remote control in the room weren't working properly, which was a bit inconvenient. The lobby is very clean and has a wood-burning stove, which creates a nice atmosphere. The walk to the inn at night is very scary. The breakfast was delicious, just as other reviews said, and I would like to eat it again. However, there were ants and spiders on the table. I was with a friend so I was laughing it off, but if I were with my significant other and there were bugs in the dining area, it might be unpleasant... Is it because it's close to the mountains that there are so many bugs? Overall, it's close to the station and is okay, but I think this is a place for people who want to spend time alone in peace and quiet, rather than coming with friends or family."
