This hotel, converted from a former British consulate during the Republic of China era, is quaint and elegant. I absolutely love the room's decor and layout; the facilities are complete, and the hygiene is impeccable. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Chinese options, and I especially enjoyed their corn – it's small but incredibly soft and delicious. And here's the best part: their service is exceptional; they go above and beyond what you'd expect. Next time I'm in Chongqing, this will definitely be my top choice.

The location is very close to Xiahaoli, within walking distance. **Exquisite Fruit Platter**: The fruit was fresh, and the oranges were very sweet – I loved them. **Custom Travel Photography**: The young lady who took our photos was very patient, shooting in different scenarios. We ended up buying many pictures. **Bathtub Soaking Experience**: The bathtub was large, and there was plenty of hot water. I rested very well. A great experience!

What's most reassuring is the cleanliness; the sheets and towels in the room are spotless, and the facilities are well-maintained, not feeling old or dated at all. Whether you're on a business trip or vacation, this is an excellent choice, and the river view is also beautiful. I've already recommended it to my friends!

This hotel has a very unique Republic of China-era charm, elegant and grand. You can enjoy river views right from your balcony. The rooms are comfortable, and although breakfast is a set menu, it's very hearty and delicious. The hotel also features a small, distinctive museum. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs – truly thoughtful and welcoming. The complimentary travel photoshoot included with the booking was a huge surprise; the photographer was very professional, perfectly blending the subjects with the background. It was absolutely stunning! Mangeng Mansion is definitely worth a second stay.
