Bus services to ciampino airport at 5 minutes walk (ideal if you have an early morning flight) 5 minutes trip. 15 minutes train to Rome centre (8 minutes walk from the hotel) also ideal if you have a car and want avoid Rome traffic."

"Nice view over there in the castle like property and beautiful environment for the tranquility in the village. Yet, it took me about two hours to reach there from the train station by walking (late arrival by giving the credit to the silly European airlines operation), and it costs me $35 euros equivalent to get out there to the train station by FREENOW (European Uber). All in all, nice place, bad transportation unless you have a car ready."

"Hotel Louis II was our residence for four nights. Initially we were surprised that there was no 24hr front desk or staff at hand as we were late booking in. However, we rang the hotel and they made provision for us to pick up the key and left messages to make sure we could orientate to our room. The room was on the outside of the hotel. A large room with one double bed and two single beds. Air conditioning and a small TV. The beds were comfortable. In the morning we were able to speak to the lovely staff who then checked us in. The staff helped with travel tips. After a simple but delicious breakfast we set off on our travels around Rome. A big thank you to the staff at Hotel Louis."

"The most absurd thing was the total absence of air conditioning. In the summer the room was a furnace: there was an insupportable warmth, no breathing and very bad sleep. We were totally sweaty all night and the only thing available was a small ventilator, absolutely useless with those temperatures. The breakfast was also a disappointment: the bricks were completely discharged from the heat, a sign that they were not kept properly. The bathroom was as unpleasant as it was: the tape was smelled to the feet and the shower was half broken, making it very uncomfortable for use. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences we have had in a B&B. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend it."

The dining experience is also impeccable! The most surprising thing is that there is a group of cute cats in the yard, walking leisurely, and they will gather obediently to take out food. "Fabulous apartment just across the road from Ciampino train station and bus stop right outside to take u there and back to the airport. Loved the stylish interior, big comfy bed, amazing air conditioning. Cold water, milk and juices in fridge plus coffee pods, tea bags and sugar. There was a box filled with little cakes, biscuits, jams, chocolate spread and crackers. Fab cute little balcony. Would highly recommend this apartment and definitely stay here again. Landlord very easy to speak to and sort getting entrance to the property 😊"
