"We only stayed for one night on our way back from lambertsbay to durbanville, the hotel it self was average, however dinner at the restaurant was a disaster, we waited 2 hours for our food so just cancelled after that, the other guests in the restaurant had the same experience. Same with breakfast.. bad service. Such a pity, seeing that it’s the only restaurant in Clanwilliam. Such a waste of money! It should be a hidden gem!"

"In Cederburg, heart of the San rock art experience, The Yellow Aloe Guest House was easy to find on a quiet street, and welcoming after a long day on the road. At our host's recommendation, dinner was just minutes away. The rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming and breakfast the next morning was a feast, starting with coffee and yogurt and continuing with a full English breakfast - delicious. The gardens were beautiful and we wished we could stay longer than overnight. Definitely a good value."

You are surrounded by a warm atmosphere and a very tasteful interior design. The collection of ceramics is particularly delightful. Our guide Liam was most knowledgeable and a source of much information. The picnic was a most pleasant experience. As a big surprise we were spoilt with a private dinner in a fairytale atmosphere created by a crackling fire and a lot of candles. A venue to be highly recommended."
