This 100 year old house offers a rustic & retro beach house experience. Kept simple, comfortable, it offers classic fun including jigsaws, games, TV, DVDs & wifi. It is only a 5 minute bush walk to stunning Blackhead Beach or 10 minutes through a sub-tropical rainforest to the shops. Once you've arrived there's no need to get in your car til you're ready to go home.The spaceThis is a much loved beach house & a great place to unwind, get active & reconnect with yourself & your family. There are ocean baths, beach walking & exploring to do with a patrolled swimming beach (school holidays). We are dog friendly on request, please let us know how many & what breeds so we can confirm if this will work, we ask dogs be kept off inside furniture & ask guests to pick up any dog poop in the yard. There is a one-off pet fee of $25. It's a dog friendly beach but have your leads with you for certain area's. , The fencing is about 1.2 metres high so best for small dogs and the neighbours have dogs too, so one's that don't get too barky would be welcome.Frida's is close to the beach and catches a great ocean breeze, there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area, and we've got ducted air-conditioning.There is good mobile coverage from Telstra & Optus, other providers are variable.The bathroom has a shower over its clawfoot bath, it’s a little curvy on the bottom and maybe unstable for some, we have a great ensuite shower as well & an outdoor shower with hot and cold.We are LGBTIQ friendly and this is the perfect honeymoon venue!Frida's has a wrap around verandah on two sides, it's like a room outside and you can move with the sun or hide in the shade.
