"Myself and wife (both Singaporean) celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and just wrapped up a 15-day self drive vacation to Switzerland and Austria. First stopover 3 nights stay in Hotel Brienz: from warm and smiling reception by lady boss Barbara, to spacious/absolutely clean well laid-out room with balcony/delicious breakfast especially croissonts pastries/amazing views/clean and cool air ..... no words can describe our immense joy and amazements. Strongly recommend Hotel Brienz for anyone looking to stay close to Interlaken/Grindelwald/Lucerne with peace and manageable cost. Thank you once again to Barbara and entire staffs at Hotel Brienz .... till we meet again :)"

"Super good! The view of the waterfall is so beautiful, and the key is that you can also enjoy the view of Lake Breinz. The dinner in the restaurant at night was also a surprise, very delicious, and the wine was good. It is rare to see a hotel with so many elegantly decorated and beautiful lounges in addition to the lobby. I highly recommend the Franz Weber Suite, which has both waterfall and lake views!
