"Having stayed in many establishments in the Lake District over the past 50 years I can safely say that this was my favourite place of them all! The location is peaceful and stunningly beautiful. The hotel was faultless in our opinion and the staff without exception simply lovely. Add to all of this the wonderful food on offer and you have a little bit of heaven. I am not sure that we will stay anywhere else in the Lake District from now."

"Little get away with husband. The room was perfect and the atmosphere was great. Nothing was too small a chore and we even got beautiful swans on our bed as it was our anniversary!!! Price was very good, def would be back."

"Had a lovely one night stay at the Cuckoo Brow Inn Room 5. We took are 2 year old rescue dog of 3 months not sure how he would behave. However, did not have to worry he was made very welcome and apart from a couple of growls he was good.The room was spotless,ample space,shower perfect, one thing I noticed the towels were actually full sized bath towels. Plenty of tea,coffee and biscuits in the room which is lovely gesture.The food in the restaurant was lovely and good choice on menu.The staff were professional,friendly,helpful and lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Inn especially if taken dogs.well done and thank you for a wonderful stay."
