"We stayed one night on our way from Segovia to the south. The hotel is easy to find especially as we arrived late Sunday. The hotel is an old house that has had the former courtyard roofed. The owner was most accommodating and helpful. There is a nice lounge area with a fireplace and plenty of seating in the courtyard, They provided a good European breakfast. We liked the ambience and old world charm We spent a few hours visiting the fort and windwmills on the hill which was very interesting and picturesque. Unfortuneatly it was Sunday and eveything was closed up tight as a drum. We couldn't even find one restuarant open, but there was a supermarket so we just bought some snacks to tie us over until the morning. Unless you are a real Don Quixote fan there is not much to do, but it was very nice transit spot to stop for the night."

"A real gem of an overnight stay on the drive from UK to Southern Spain in an area with few other options. A small, immaculately clean, modern b&b and at a great price. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast ample. The owner/host was onsite to help with check in and also at breakfast. We enjoyed a refreshing dip in the small pool in the courtyard. We had dinner (as recommended by the host) a few steps away at ‘El Retorno’ restaurant - highly recommended!"

"Ho soggiornato una notte in questo appartamento con mia figlia e mio marito disabile motorio che usa la carrozzina. Appartamento pulito e molto curato, ottima posizione. Il bagno è spazioso, con wc con maniglioni e doccia a filo. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha procurato una sedia per la doccia appena glielo abbiamo chiesto. Colazione ricca, macchina del caffè con cialde (!) e possibilità di fare toast. La colazione dolce prevalentemente composta da merende confezionate ma di tutti i gusti. Molto carino l angolo dei souvenirs. Possibilità di andare in piscina, al primo piano quindi non accessibile per mio marito, e di parcheggiare la macchina dentro un box coperto abbastanza vicino all’appartamento. L unico lato negativo i due scalini per entrare nello stabile. I stayed one night in this apartment with my daughter and my disabled husband who uses the wheelchair. Clean and well-kept apartment, excellent location. The bathroom is spacious, with toilet with handles and flush shower. The owner was very kind, she got us a shower chair as soon as we asked her. Rich breakfast, coffee machine with pods (!) And possibility to make toast. The sweet breakfast mainly consists of packaged snacks but of all flavours. The souvenir corner is very nice. Possibility to go to the pool not accessible and to park the car inside a covered garage. The only downside is two step to enter the building; the adapted apartment is on the ground floor."

"Very pleasant hotel in the centre of Consuegra. Has a beautiful courtyard to relax, a small pool. Gemma the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Check-in quick and efficient. Room comfortable, fresh and clean. Breakfast is Buffett and plenty, unless some guests are greedy! A very nice place to stay. Highly recommend."

"The dictionary doesn’t have enough words to describe the wonders of this place. Our room, El Lagar, was perfect and had a huge terrace that had a wonderful view of the windmills. The breakfast was excellent. The entire Casa Rural was decorated professionally. There was parking right in front of the house. The owner, Jose, recommended the restaurant El Retorno which was magnificent, it had magnified gourmet food and very affordable prices."
