"What a lovely stay! Ann is an exceptional hostess who greeted us warmly and treated us with great care, from the welcoming pot of tea and freshly made lemon cake served in the conservatory to our excellent breakfast the next day. We were trekking so opted for fruit, yogurt, croissant and tea only. Ann asked if we'd like a sandwich to go and prepared us a full lunch bag for the day. Very generous and so thoughtful. The bed was super comfortable, the room spacious with a gorgeous view of the sea. 5 stars!"

"We were recommended this hotel for an evening meal. My friend had informed the hotel in advance that she was allergic to mussels. Her choice was restricted as several meals contained mussels. We chose the lamb but were informed that it was now duck. Desserts were restricted so we chose ice cream only to be told that the one we had chosen was unavailable. We had driven over 20 meals to get there so were extremely disappointed. We will not be returning."
