"I can’t rate this property properly as it wasn’t the correct property! We didn’t stay but they took £106! Clicked on a link on trivago for the Wheatsheaf inn in Ludlow, Trip changed from that Inn to this one named the same, 3hours away from Ludlow! Not my fault, I rang this Inn to speak to someone regarding the wrong booking! I was told twice that someone would phone me back!! I’m still waiting for the call. If you couldn’t do anything regarding a refund or alternatives, still have the decency to phone me back. That’s customer service!"

"I booked a basic double room in the Lodge. The room was fine at this price point, clean and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and the bar had a good range of food options on the menu. The location is very close to Gatwick Airport, and the hotel had plenty of free parking, just register your number plate at the reception."

"The price of the room including breakfast, experience of booking through to the stay was really reasonable and very easy to do and very well communicated. Emails were received to confirm booking and also within 72 hours of the stay as advised to reassure the booking was valid. The room and en suite was very clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast with a vast choice. Friendly staff made for a pleasant stay even though it was only for 1 night."

"The beds were absolutely terrible, never had a worse night sleep as we did there, so uncomfortable. The pillows were so hard and lumpy we hardly got any sleep at all. The plans flying over were noisy. There was dirty washing in the hallway when we arrived at 7 pm and was still there the next day at 8 am. They advised breakfast but then we were told there wasn’t any. Over all staff were polite it was quite clean but we would never stay again"

I slept Very comfortable And the receptionist he was so nice the one I met when I first arrived as I don’t like the milk they put in a room he gave me a glass of milk and I was so happy he was so nice. "I had an absolutely FANTASTIC STAY at Safestay Brighton and couldn’t RECOMMEND IT more highly! From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They are exceptionally friendly, PROFESSIONAL, approachable and always happy to help with anything you need. They also have excellent local knowledge and are full of great recommendations for places to eat, things to do and getting around Brighton. The LOCATION is UNBEATABLE. Situated directly opposite the beautiful Royal Pavilion, you’re only a FEW MINS WALK from the BEACH and pier, the Lanes, gardens, countless cafés and restaurants, supermarkets, bars, bike hire, launderettes and the main bus stops. Even the train station is within easy walking distance..making it the PERFECT BASE for exploring Brighton. One thing that really stood out to me was how WELL MAINTAINED the hostel is. As it’s newly opened, everything feels fresh, modern and well looked after (not like some older hostels that can feel tired or musty). The HOUSEKEEPING team are WONDERFUL and always happy to help. Any request I had was dealt with quickly and with a smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The hostel has a lovely and SAFE SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE too. The chill out lounge is a great place to relax..with 24 hr access for guests and there are FUN ACTIVITIES like karaoke nights, world cup viewings, movie nights, board games and a variety of drinks available, making it EASY TO MEET PEOPLE from all over the world. There was never a shortage of interesting conversations or vibrant characters from every walk of life..which made the experience even more memorable. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and HASSLE-FREE and ACCESS to the building is simple and secure. A huge thank you to the entire SAFESTAY BRIGHTON TEAM for making my stay such a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. A special thank you to Charlie, Sara, Brooke, Max, Dee, Maryam and all. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel at home..not just for me but for every guest I saw you greet :) I truly appreciated the kindness, respect and care shown throughout my stay. I’ve really made some wonderful memories and even some great friendships here.
