"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."

Walkersons Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"We spent a weekend away for our anniversary. The service from all the staff was excellent. They were friendly and attended to all our requests. They went out of their way to make our weekend special. The room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking one of the lakes. The views were beautiful. The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good especially the trout. There was a lovely fireplace in the bedroom and a supply of wood was left if needed. There are no air conditioners or fans in the rooms and I dont know how hot it gets in the summer. The fireplace kept the room warm and cozy just a little chilly in the early morning. A special thank you to the staff for making our celebration so special."

"Our experience at Cinzaco was delightful in every respect. Despite arriving after 8pm on a windy and rainy autumn evening, Helga warmly greeted us at reception and offered helpful suggestions for local supper spots. We stayed in the guesthouse, which featured a beautifully decorated, tidy room. The ensuite bathroom included a double shower; a rare and welcome feature. After a long day of work and travel, the comfortable bed and quality linens were especially appreciated. Although I usually avoid staying in rooms within houses, I would gladly return to Cinzaco without hesitation. Additionally, there is a spotless coffee area, a cosy lounge, and an outdoor dining space available on the property. Although I was initially unsure whether to mention it, I would like to formally express my appreciation for the thoughtful morning surprise with the takeaway bag."

"We stayed two nights and was spoiled by the service. Rooms are neat and clean, breakfast was more that perfect. Haven’t had a great omelet like that at any restaurant. Old house with the beautiful stained glass and surrounded by lush gardens is fitting to the name The Highland Rose Country House. Spa is well equipped and had a great back massage. "
