"Great rooms and breakfast, but let down by poor service The room was comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff seemed friendly at first – but unfortunately, a few issues really let the stay down. One of our party was given a room with a broken toilet that wouldn't flush, and the hotel refused to send anyone to fix it. Worse still, we'd booked a coach through the hotel to take our group to a wedding venue, but the driver abruptly refused to take any luggage, leaving half of us to scramble for taxis while the bus left with only some of the group. The hotel offered no help with alternatives, and the driver was downright rude. On a positive note, you can get a great-value discount for the leisure centre, gym, and pool next door – but given the service failures, I'd think twice before booking here for an event."

"Had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Glen Gat House B and B for a short stay with friends. From the moment I entered the door to the moment I left. Staff are absolutely amazing and the owners are very professional. Breakfast is fantastic and topped off with very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Absolutely fantastic !
