Don't understand some of the negative reviews. Our room (909) was great, with really, really comfortable beds. Massive room , which was cleaned daily. Breakfast room was very busy at 8am, with good selection of freshly cooked eggs. To us Brits, fish cakes, chicken livers and beef liver would not be seen as breakfast dishes, but the livers were always in an empty dish, so must have been popular! Room service good, and not expensive by UK standards. Always felt secure with security at car park and hotel entrance. Would not hesitate to stay again.

First time visiting Road Lodge East London and all I can say is staff is fabulous! I had a warm welcome from reception, the hot chocolate from the kitchen was marvellous! My dinner was to die for.
