Pros: The location of the hotel is good. This is a big hotel with many rooms. The terrace is super nice. shortcoming: 1- But my room is separated from the noise of huge equipment, I don't know what it is, it is much more noisy than the refrigerator. 2- The corridors and restaurants don't turn on the heating very much, it's very cold. 3- The bed is relatively soft 4- But there is no parking space for taxis in front Overall: 4 points The price-performance ratio of more than 2,000 is not very high, but the level of the entire British hotel is incomparable with that of Asia, and this hotel cannot be blamed.

We were soles tired right off the plane after figuring out that I had no license and could not get my rental car :( I took it well pouted and walked away. We took the Tram to St Andrew's Square. We needed to be in The border lands in Peebles. We stopped at the Edinburgh Grand. The men at the desk couldn't have been nicer! They called a taxi service not once but twice! They held our bags and said that their was a bar upstairs we could wait at with a wonderful and sweet cocktail waitress and relax. They came and got us when he arrived. Carried our bags to the taxi for us. We will tell this story many times in the future and we will thing of them all fondly.

This is the most satisfying hotel in this trip. I hope I can stay a few more days next time. The hotel has a beautiful appearance and the rooms are large and Scottish-style. Compare the prices of five-star hotels in London that cost only one, two, and one night The Balmoral 5k per night is well worth it! It's also very close to Waverley Bridge, just on Princes Street. Nothing to say about the location

This was our second time at this hotel and we stayed for almost a week. You can't beat the location on George Street, right downtown, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are very nice. The king bed had a good mattress and pillows. There is a safe. They seem to have made upgrades since our last pre-covid stay, including air-conditioning in (all?) rooms. As you would expect in a big city, the rooms are quite small and the hotel is not exactly quiet; also depending on where your room faces. We were right by the elevator, which I generally don't like. I wonder if it's because we booked through our credit card and not direct. It seems there is sometimes a ”penalty'. The rooms are supplied daily with water, delicious cookies and snacks. You can make individual cups of drip coffee in a filter, which is much better than instant coffee but not as good as a Nespresso, IMHO. We had breakfast included and the Printing Press is just wonderful, for breakfast, any meal and later evening cocktails and whiskey. The Burr & Co is a coffee shop, also right next door, with tables outside. Love that place. The hotel has great service. We lost a suitcase and got daily support in checking on the status and changing the address on the delivery. There seemed to be a shortage on hair conditioner and we didn't have a sign for do-not-disturb the first day and got woken at 8 AM, but that didn't spoil our enjoyment of the hotel stay. We expect to be back.

Stayed her for three nights October 2022 with the Scotland Rugby League team prior to the Rugby League World Cup. What a great find this hotel was. Spotlessly clean and so very comfortable. Bedrooms roomy and the beds as comfortable as you can get. The food was excellent, and they catered for our every need. The breakfasts were amazing and the service was beyond reproach . Special shout out to our servers Chez, Shannon and the boss Karen. Could not have been better. A massive thank you and a great start to our World Rugby League Cup campaign . Defo use this hotel again.

If you take the airline100 bus from the airport and get off at the city of Edinburgh, you can get there in about 20 minutes. All the way is more prosperous and not remote.

We have stayed here before as we were going to the playhouse to see a show. Very happy with this hotel that’s why we booked it again. It’s like a 5 minute walk to the playhouse. The real thing matches the picture perfectly! The host sister was super considerate and prepared fruits and candies🍬 to welcome us! The kitchen supplies and tableware are all complete, and those who cook will be happy! There was only a double bed, and there were three of us. One boy slept on the sofa. We communicated with the landlady in advance and got permission to prepare an extra quilt! The water flow in the toilet is very strong and the hot water supply is sufficient. An additional heater in the bedroom is enough, and there is no problem with the heating in the living room! The location is really great, just around the corner from Edinburgh Castle

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. It is an easy check-in, all you need is your id card and a credit card for deposit. The room is quite small, but the toilet is very clean. You can get free shampoo, body wash and conditioner from the reception. Since its actually a student accommodation, you better bring your own tooth brush and paste, towel and mug. Or you can simply get these from sainsbury nearby.

It takes 0.5 hours to walk from the hotel to Waverley Railway Station. 4 households share a kitchen with new furniture, TV, sofa, stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave oven, etc. It can be used for cooking and living room. The staff at the reception desk have a good attitude. Coffee, milk, salt, pepper, shampoo, and body wash are placed at the door, and you can get them for free; hair dryers, bath towels, towels, etc. are conditional. The double bed is very narrow at 1.3 meters, the spring mattress is uneven and uncomfortable, and the bathroom is extremely small.

The hotel is in a very good location, not far from the train station. Many attractions can be reached on foot. Shopping and eating around are also convenient! When I started checking in, I was given a room on the underground floor. I was not satisfied. After communicating and coordinating with the front desk immediately, I was moved to a room on the 8th floor. The room on the 8th floor had a view of Calton Mountain, which was very nice. of!

The staff was helpful,friendly and polite.Check in and out was fast and easy.The girl at the reception upgraded my room as I was platinium member.The room was mach better than expected(no 110).It was very big ,bright and spacious with lovely high ceilings.The city was approx.12 min.Breakfast had fairly good chocice.There was a small gym as well. Overall.it was very good value for money.
