Acrotel Athena Villa ★★★★

📍 Akti Elias, Nikiti, 98.9km from Macedonia Airport, Elia

"This is a remote annex of Athena place and was at the begging an extraordinary place with a typical Greek hospitality, a bar open all day with a friendly staff, serenity et. However this has changed dramatically and the approach is very commercial and artificial. The bar is closed no service on the beach no staff available and the equipment is getting old with problems like the shower. On the top prices have doubled for the last five years, breakfast originally offered is now an extra, etc Is is very sad to see that this area of Greece becomes as touristic as some other locations and that the direction of the hotel is happy with that. More money for less service the good receipt to destroy hospitality and Greek image."

"This is the second time we are vacationing here, now in an extended edition with a child, and I have to praise all the conditions. From the employees, cleanliness, food, location...everything was perfect for us and we will definitely come again."

Lagomandra Beach Hotel ★★★★
"The only positive aspect of this hotel is its excellent location right by the beach. Unfortunately, everything else is far below the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. Upon arrival, my family and I were accommodated in a room directly next to a busy road. Instead of enjoying a peaceful beach holiday, i felt like we were stuck in the middle of a noisy city—the exact opposite of what we came for. After raising this issue, reception moved us to another room, but this one was even worse. It was next to a tavern, with constant noise and unpleasant smells drifting inside. To make matters worse, the mattress itself had a terrible odor, making it impossible to rest comfortably. The restaurant also leaves much to be desired, with hygiene standards clearly not meeting expectations. As if that wasn’t enough, just as I finally managed to fall asleep around 6:50 in the morning, I was woken by a staff member loudly using a vacuum cleaner to clean leaves outside. I have stayed at many 4-star hotels in both Greece and Bulgaria, and sadly, Lagomandra Beach is by far the lowest in quality. The location is wonderful, but everything else urgently needs improvement."

"The pink wave entertainment team are really great, particularly the girls who do the exercise classes on the beach, there is a good mixture of variety and you certainly get the most out of each session"

"Excellent hotel with friendly staff, we got a better room than we paid for. Clean pool, clean and useful gym, one of the most beautiful beaches with natural shade, good food (perhaps a slightly better choice of food for dinner). All in all, we will definitely visit this hotel again."
