"Stayed for couple of nights at Hotel Spannot during Europe tour in June’24. The hotel is situated at a quiet marketplace at Engelberg and at a short distance from Mount Titlis. Rooms were moderate in size and was fitted with comfortable bed, wardrobe, chairs etc. Rooms had a tiny balcony with nice view of mountains and adjacent buildings. The washroom was clean and well maintained too. The room doors are opened through access code, which was informed beforehand. The staffs were friendly. The inhouse restaurant served decent breakfast. Overall, a comfortable stay at a scenic place."

Bellevue-Terminus - Urban Lifestyle Hotel
"Excellent stay. The hotel has a lovely older grand appearance on the outside with modern rooms inside. We had a lovely stay here. The location is so convenient- right across from the train station and close to the cable cars for Mt TITLIS as well as Brunni. Breakfast was perfect- excellent selection of anything you could possibly want and displayed so nicely. The staff are so very helpful and sweet. We did eat at their restaurant, Yucatán and the food was so good. They had a live band outside one evening and it was a lovely environment to sit and enjoy the food and listen to some music. The area is just a wonderful place to hike and explore the mountains. Will definitely return!"

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at your charming hotel. We arrived with reservations to an engleberg hotel in Germany! Yet the kind staff were able to accommodate us even though the hotel was very full. We enjoyed the use of the children’s playroom where our 2 year old granddaughter had lots of fun on one rainy afternoon. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and a delicious breakfast. We had to mail the room key back to them when we realized on the train to Murren that we had not returned it when we checked out! We are usually much better guests than that. I guess it was time to head home and stop traveling!"

"Tolerable for a night or two, impossible to recommend for longer stays. Huge impressive building with a fine view over Engelberg, a little distance above the centre and a series of lifts and tunnels plus a walk and bus ride to the ski lifts. Rooms in the new section seemed recently renovated, but my bed was too firm for comfortable sleep. Buffet breakfasts were mediocre but acceptable for short stays. Many guests are in large groups and only stay one night or maybe two. Dinners are also buffet style for all courses and were disappointing rather than awful. Most of the staff were professional and friendly and the place was clean and tidy, but management have a rigid adherence to archaic rules, as can be seen from the sign at the entrance to the restaurant and on tables - see photos."

"Not recommendable for camper with dogs. They do not bother about animals and do not inform you when fireworks happen next to the campsite. We were placed next to a huge professional firework site and experienced a horrifying 2 hours firework at Silvester, although we were asking whether it will be quiet. No need to mention the trauma of our dog, and also ours because this firework was extremely loud and long lasting. The area where we were placed seemed to be reserved for camper with dogs, all others had the same problem. The owners should have known about the planned fireworks, and did not warn us. Unacceptable…. Furthermore this area was poorly prepared for winter camping, the water at the service station was closed, we had to walk a long way to the reception area. Further it got icy and frozen like a skating field without any treatment. Injuries were likely."
