"The hotel is not too far from the train station, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff were very attentive and helpful – definitely worth a thumbs up! The rooms were clean, but there was no air conditioning. The bathroom had heating pipes, making a hot shower very comfortable. The hotel also has a swimming pool and sauna, which are great for enjoying during your vacation."

The group dinner was pre-booked with time slot. Both the days, Indian buffet were served which had decent options of bread, rice, veg and non-veg dishes including chicken and fish. The foods were tasty too. The restaurant has a comfy ambience and seems to be busy dining place. Overall satisfying dining of Indian cuisine at Engelberg."

It is a simple, quiet and beautiful boutique hotel with no air-conditioner. 40minutes drive from the center of Luzern. If you will need to back to the hotel after 11pm, please be remembered the front door is closed and you will need your key to open the door. Recommend to those who will drive to travel in Engelberg but if you only plan to take a train tour, it is not for you. "

"A comfortable self-service hotel, just off the train station. The self-service kitchen is great. Only one or two people use it during the off-season. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can make hot pot, barbecue, and cakes. It is recommended not to book the smallest room, as the bed is narrow or the sloping roof is a bit depressing. Book a larger room with a wide lower bed, which is comfortable for two people to sleep in."

"We had a fantastic stay at this budget-friendly, apartment-style accommodation near Titlis Resort! The place was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with lovely balconies to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It’s just a 5-7 minute walk to the slopes, making it super convenient for skiing. The location is great for outdoor activities but can be tricky for dining since transportation into town stops around 6 PM, meaning a .6-mile walk each way. However, the nearby Coop was perfect for grabbing groceries and cooking in the apartment. Amenities were well-maintained—the ski room was ideal for storage, and the washer and dryer were a plus (just remember to bring detergent!). There are extra charges for additional towels, but everything was spotless. The only downside was the beds—not the most comfortable—but the duvets and pillows were nice. A huge bonus was the great park for kids, making it a solid option for families. Despite a few small inconveniences, we’d definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"A very nice hostel with a great atmosphere and delicious breakfast. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The hostel is particularly impressive due to its cleanliness – both the rooms and the common areas were always well-maintained and tidy. Breakfast was a real highlight. It had everything you could wish for: a good selection, fresh products, and something for everyone. A great way to start the day! We would also like to especially commend the friendly and competent staff. You feel welcome, well looked after, and your questions are always taken seriously. A small note for guests sensitive to noise: the building is somewhat poorly soundproofed, so you can sometimes hear noises from neighboring rooms or the hallway. However, this didn't bother us personally. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"
