"Nothing wrong with the place for what you pay, clean , great staff. The main issue is the groups of men , going out at 10 pm coming in at 5am causing grief with the reception. And other guests. I do appreciate its not 5 star but looking at the previous reviews how can you expect 5star for 3 nights unlimited golf eg 8 rounds for around £230 . Just been to Quinta do Lago £190 for ONE round."

"So having read some of the reviews I was worried about staying here. We arrived early but our apartment was ready. It was clean, bright and fresh smelling. Fully equipped kitchen, and washing machine a bonus. The down side is how far you ate from amenities. You definitely need a car. Also if you have mobility issues some apartments are reached by lots of steps. We had to go down steps to ours and then up about 35 steps to door. We didn't get to use the pool, too cold but it looked clean. Sun beds could definitely do with being replaced. All in all not a bad stay. I paid lemonade price so didn't expect champagne facilities."

"Great hotel. We stayed for one night, took a one-room apartment. We were worried that there wouldn’t be another bed for the child. As a result, the bedroom had a huge double bed, and the living room had 2 fold-out sofas. Therefore, in general, 2 adults and 2 children will be accommodated in comfort. The apartment had everything you needed for cooking, pots, pans, spoons, forks, etc. There is also a refrigerator, stove, microwave. Washing machine."

"Don’t believe the negatives, these apartments are new, clean and have all required facilities, kitchen area, shower room and twin beds. Nice sunny balcony. There is a gymnasium on site and two swimming pools. Free shuttle bus to Gramacho and Pinta golf courses. I was on a golf trip, so exactly as i required, these are not really designed as family holiday apartments, albeit that families did seem to be enjoying them. If you want to walk. It’s only 1k to Gramacho club house and the adjacent supermarket, but remember there is the free shuttle. Staff were welcoming and helpful, I thoroughly recommend the Apartments, but if they want to improve things, a bar in the reception are, with snack options would be nice, but its not a game changer."

"A very pleasant one month stay. Everything you need is in the apartments including a washing machine, hair drier, iron and all the utensils you would need. I read the reviews one week before travel, and thought omg. When we opened the door to our apartment we were flabbergasted at such poor reviews. The apartments are authentic, charming and quaint. The staff particularly the house keeping and reception, are really helpful and professional I would like to mention Carolina at reception, she was really , helpful and went above and beyond in helping me contact a cycle hire shop in Portimao. Everything was fantastic from the start to the end. And would definitely stay here again."
