We had dinner at the restaurant, definitely recommended. Very tasty, well-presented, and generous portions. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering both sweet and savory options: yogurt, fresh cottage cheese, various cheeses, sliced and unsliced fresh fruit, bacon and eggs, etc… Too much to list. We would definitely come back."

"After about 40 van der valk (mainly exclusive) I am now very disappointed. Checking in at this hotel is waiting until they feel like getting out of their old hut, unfriendly and not very helpful. The luxury castle room is not impressive, the bubble bath is not really a bubble bath. Restaurant, food was tasty portion very small and the price enormous 12 euros for a glass of cava, breakfast is ordinary, but placed on cupboards exactly as if they forgot. No coziness and staff not really friendly, nowhere can you see that you are in a van der valk. And then this hotel belongs in the more expensive class of van der valk, maybe also take the right picture because now it is located exactly in the woods and is just in the center of Vaals. I will not come here again"
