L'Ecolodge de Simal ★★

"Fantastic Ecolodge in the middle of nature, directly on the river shore. Rooms are real local tukuls. They are large, quite comfortable and equipped enough. Food is amazing."

Hotel Cap du Sine Saloum

Souimanga Lodge ★★★

"What a fantastic place! We really enjoyed our stay here. The Lagoon rooms are spacious, with great bathrooms (light and size), and a deck that takes you right to the water, where you sit and watch/hear the remarkable birds in the area. The room price includes dinner and it's excellent. They have a series of activities -- we went to the Wednesday market and a birdwatching tour with lunch. The hotel's guide was great. It's also just five minutes taxi ride from one of the best collections of African art you can find in West Africa (Musée MAHICAO in Fimela)."
