"Most awful horrendous disgusting place I've ever stayed at. The pictures online are very misleading. It doesn't fit basic health and safety regulations. It's the kind of place that you'd find in a Stephen King book. 2 broken fans, a broken light, bumpy mattresses on wooden planks, it stinks of dampness, it hasn't been renovated for at least 40 years. Extremely overpriced, I paid 175 euros for 2 nights and left after just 1 night. I'm going to issue a complaint to the local authorities since I can't actually believe they're allowed to operate as a hotel."

"It was lovely, the room was spacious, location is 10/20 minutes from most beaches. Service was lovely and limited to the mornings until early afternoon. The grounds have some charm but nothing special. It's very quiet which we liked. If you are going to be using it only for sleeping and driving around all the time it's perfect. Improvements could be done on the breakfast which we found a bit average."

MarSenses Ferrera Blanca Hotel - Adults Only

"We have just returned from our third stay at Marsenses Ferrera Blanca Adults Only and again it didn’t disappoint. It’s a pleasant 20 minute walk into Cala D’Or or a five minute walk to the taxi rank if you don’t fancy that. There are also plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close to the hotel if you don’t want to go into central Cala D’Or but why wouldn’t you? The centre if full of bars and restaurants with the pedestrian only streets beautifully lit and full of people of all ages walking, eating, drinking and simply watching the world go by. The hotel itself has lovely, clean and spacious rooms, all no more than a couple of minutes away from a lovely pool area. If you prefer, add another minute and you are on the beach which has a great beach bar serving good quality drinks and snacks. The food in the hotel is very good with a wide choice and beautifully presented. It also has specials you can order that are not part of the buffet. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I have to mention Aline again who chats to every guest on most days to make sure everything is going well and ensures you have the best possible holiday. I have never come across anyone like Aline in any other accommodation I have stayed in. I would highly recommend staying hear and hope to be back soon."

"Extremely disappointing – nothing like it used to be This was our 5th time visiting, so we clearly loved this place enough to keep coming back. Unfortunately, this visit was by far the most disappointing, and we left feeling genuinely short-changed. The resort has changed dramatically, and in our opinion, many of those changes have been for the worse. When we arrived, we were told that half of the complex is now adults-only. We are a family of five with three children, so this immediately meant that a large part of the resort was no longer available to us. What makes this even more frustrating is that the old snack bar has now become an adults-only restaurant. This used to be one of the best parts of the resort, with fresh pizza being cooked throughout the day. That has now completely disappeared. The replacement snack bar by the children’s pool is a huge downgrade. The food is predominantly deep-fried, and pizzas were few and far between. For a 4-star resort, we expected much better food options, particularly when this used to be something the resort did extremely well. The evening entertainment was another major disappointment. On previous visits, there were professional shows and much more impressive entertainment. This time, it was largely in-house entertainment, which was nowhere near the standard we remember. One evening, the entertainment consisted of showing an animated Spider-Man film on a big outdoor screen. Quite frankly, that is not what we expect from a 4-star establishment, especially when we have previously experienced much better. Then there was the room. It simply wasn’t big enough for four people, and the sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It got to the point where I was genuinely looking forward to getting home just so I could finally get a decent night’s sleep. That’s not how you want to feel after paying for a holiday. What makes all of this even more disappointing is that we knew what this resort used to offer. This wasn’t our first visit — it was our fifth. We have seen the resort at its best, which makes the decline even more noticeable. It now feels as though the resort has made significant changes without considering the experience of returning families. There needs to be a much better balance between adults and children, rather than taking away facilities that families previously enjoyed and replacing them with inferior alternatives. Sadly, after five visits, we will not be returning. We genuinely used to love this place and had always looked forward to coming back. This time, however, we left feeling disappointed, frustrated and, ultimately, like we had not received the experience we had paid for. A huge shame, because this used to be somewhere we would happily recommend. Sadly, we can no longer say that."

"Marsenses was absolutely perfect! As a family of three, we loved our self-catering apartment, even though we were on half board. The food was fantastic, and the whole team worked incredibly hard—nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool towels were great, there was never any rush for sunbeds, and any beds that had been reserved prior to 10am and left unattended were quickly dealt with by the wonderful Henry! Henry was honestly the highlight of our holiday. His smile, sense of humour, banter, and fun energy made every day better. He always went above and beyond—even taking the time to repair my husband's sunglasses! Thank you, Henry, for making our holiday so memorable. From making me jump out of my skin to making me laugh, your banter and enthusiasm were brilliant. You truly made our stay extra special. ❤️ x"

"We loved everything about this hotel! Came here after staying at another place amd regreted that we did not book this hotel forvour whole stay. The rooms are spacious, equiped with everything you might need for your holiday. The view is fantastic. We were firstly afraid that pool is too small, but it is perfect size with enough lounges for everyone. Beautiful beach walking distance, bakery + Spar with necessities are very close. Nice restaurants in the neighborhood and also in harbor - takes few minutes to walk there. Martina at reception super nice and helpful. Overall - we could not recommend this place enough. This hotel is a gem."

"We had a wonderful week at Sa Galera and we wish it could have been longer. It is a very peaceful hotel in beautiful surroundings, far enough away from the busier areas near the beaches to not be disturbed, but still only a short drive away for the days when we wanted to visit the beach. It is also a short drive from a few nearby towns where there is a good selection of places to eat for the days when the hotel restaurant is not open in the evenings for dinner. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, from the housekeeping to the restaurant staff, in particular Carolin who always brightened our day whenever we crossed paths. A special mention too for the massage therapist Jana, who is exceptionally capable and helped to make the holiday even more relaxing. With regard to food, the breakfast has a good variety of choices to suit most tastes, and the snacks available at lunchtime each day are just right for when you want to avoid the sun at the hottest point of the day. On the evenings that the restaurant is open for dinner (Thu-Sun), there is a good choice of delicious food, either tapas or main courses, and lovely desserts. We hope to be able to return in future as we really did not want to leave!"

"We booked very short term and therefore only got one small room Nr.9. This was then absolutely enough for us. Bad is large enough and the installation boxes offer enough stuff room. The mattresses are good, even for a "back patient". All else around the Finca has been positively evaluated several times, so we can confirm the exchange with Stefanie was always informative and respectful. We only met the boss at the arrival. Therefore, no negative experiences from us and we have also not expected "animation". The situation is central and good starting point for various excursions. Top was the aftermarket in Sineu. There is a risk of repeating "
