"The name of the property is decidedly misleading, as it's a poorly furnished room with no hint of luxury. Check-in/out is unprejudiced: at reception, if you're lucky enough to find someone, you might encounter a woman who doesn't speak English and is very difficult to communicate with. No one will ask for your ID. The property doesn't have parking; breakfast is offered at a nearby bar. A welcome gift upon arrival, announced in the booking, was provided. He didn't show up either. There's nothing that suggests a suite, much less luxury, especially the photocell faucet, which is very difficult to operate. Good location, nothing else."

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"Returned for a second time and we were as happy as the first. The owner takes great care of his guests and we enjoyed our 4 nights in Fiskardo once again. These are self contained suites so breakfast is not included however there are two supermarkets to take care of breakfast needs along with restaurants should you wish. Parking is in the public area above Balhambra Suites however, you can drive down into the town to temporarily unload your luggage if needed. The location is excellent and even though it is central in the town it is quiet. We hope to be back on Kefalonia again in the future and we would not hesitate to stay again at Balhambra."

"We stayed in the lovely Fiscardo Studios for three wonderful days. The studios are extremely well located in the heart of the village with absolutely superb views. The quality of the accommodation was excellent, well equipped and clean. The unexpected icing on the cake was the very large balcony with sweeping views over the bay. Lovely hosts too. We will be back!"

"Stayed at the suites in July. Katerina on reception was an absolute delight. Couldn’t do enough for you . She was very pleasant , informative and had good local knowledge. Fleura the cleaner was a lovely lady , and was eager to Please. She sorted out a minor ant issue within minutes and re cleaned the kitchen. The outside area is adequate , though further shade would have been beneficial in one specific area. The breakfast was fabulous, using all fresh, & local produce, and gives the suites the edge over its competitors."

"This place is wonderful. We had apartment 8 which is huge and beautifully furnished. The terrace over looking the sea is enormous and has sunloungers, dining table and chairs and sofa and comfy chairs. The views over the sea and mountains are amazing. There is also another large terrace facing inland. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is cleaned every day. The pool area has sunloungers and towels provided and is very quiet. We only ever once weren’t the only people there and it has a lovely view of the sea. The family running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They arranged taxis to and from the airport for us. It is a couple of minutes walk to a small beach and less than five minutes to the harbour. You can also walk to Foki beach in about 15 minutes. There are lots of cats at the hotel, and lots more in Fiskardo. We would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Only issue might be the steps in the hotel and town for those not so fit or with mobility issues."

"The accommodation does not have parking. The main carpark is about 30 steps climb and a couple of mins walk away. Parking is free, but it can be difficult to find a space. When we arrived at the accommodation, it was down an alleyway between an ice cream shop and a tavern. There was no one to greet us we arrived about 3pm, ringing the bell was pointless as we located the receptionist working in the ice cream shop. We got into our room, and we had paid extra for a jetted bath tub. This has been broken for more than 12 months, but this property is still advertising it on ******* and *********** at an enhanced rate. There is a deceptive notice in the room stating it broke yesterday, which is clearly just a lie. I was told by the receptionist that it clearly states the issue on the hotel website. We were not given any money back they just did not care. Breakfast is either Greek or continental, and you get this at Grecos tavern, which opens at 9 am. The breakfast was fine, with no issues. The room was big, the location was excellent staff were ok but the place is starting to look tired rather than luxurious. Would not stay in this accomodation again. "

"My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Balhambra Suites in Fiscardo in June 2024. We were only able to stay for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. We had a fabulously spacious suite overlooking the courtyard and therefore our sun terrace complete with rattan sun-loungers and chairs basked in sunshine for most of the day. The bed was really comfortable and the suite was beautifully furnished with a huge en-suite bathroom and superb shower. We loved it so much, we are already seriously considering booking the same suite for next year. The apartments are centrally located and have a feeling of exclusivity with the private courtyard and apartments separated from the quayside restaurants and bars with closed gates. The owner Angelo was extremely helpful offering tips on beaches to visit as well as lending us beach parasols, beach towels etc. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay."

"We arrived in Fiskardo from Ithaki and were delighted to find that Faros Suites is just a short walk from the ferry terminal. Our first impression was excellent. Although we arrived early and the previous guests had only just checked out, the staff immediately prioritised cleaning our suite so we could check in ahead of schedule. We stayed in Loft Suite No. 9 and absolutely loved it. It was spacious, beautifully designed, cool and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The small pool was a lovely bonus and perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. The location is ideal. We easily walked to both Foki Beach and Emblisi Beach, and Fiskardo harbour is only a short stroll away. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful complimentary breakfast offerings on the terrace, including coffee, tea, juice, and snacks. We felt well looked after throughout our visit and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Faros Suites was a fantastic base for exploring Fiskardo, and we would happily stay here again."

"We had a fantastic time here. Our apartment (10) was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was exceptional. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette area was well equipped. The staff we encountered were lovely, including Tony, who helped take our suitcases up. May was a perfect time to go; we had the pool to ourselves most days. Pool towels are provided. It’s a tranquil place. There are lots of stairs to the apartments so I would say they may not be suitable for people with mobility issues."
