"The location is excellent, with great access to trains, buses, and even the ferry. Story Bridge is just a 5-minute walk away. The riverside is bustling with people running, walking, and cycling, making it perfect for active long-term stays. Right in front of the entrance is a popular cafe that opens at 6 AM, great for grabbing a coffee to go. The simple yet stylish living room was also lovely. The bed was comfortable; my mother and I shared it and didn't disturb each other at all. When the oven microwave broke, the front desk promptly brought us a regular microwave. Since there's no daily cleaning service, you can get towels, toilet paper, detergent, and other necessities from the front desk if needed. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be amazing to have a vacuum cleaner and a rice cooker in the room. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay."

"Firstly i must say, the ladies at reception were absolutely beautiful, so friendly and so welcoming. But…. This hotel was disgusting. I paid $90 for a 1 night stay, so I defiantly didn’t expect anything luxurious. But to walk into my room that was “supposedly” just cleaned (I was told I couldn’t check in earlier than 2 as they were still cleaning the rooms) to find the walls and floors stained with god knows what. To find dirty cigarettes buts in the room, fluids of who knows what sort dripping down the walls, mould on the mirror above the sink in our room, the outside section being covered in cob webs, dead bugs squished into the floor INSIDE the room and OUTSIDE in the hallway area was absolutely appalling. I have woken up after sleeping in there bed with rashes all up my arms and bites all over my body. And this is all just the room, this isn’t including the communal toilets and showers. The communal toilets reeked of piss, there sanitary bins were not sanitary at all. There showers had black mould all throughout them, and they couldn’t even provide shampoo and conditioner. This was not a hotel that should have cost me $90. Sleeping in a park would have been cleaner. This is not an over exaggeration. I came from Melbourne to Brisbane for 1 night and wanted to find the cheapest accomodation. To say the least I wish I spent more on a hotel that was actually CLEAN. And again, completely understanding that this wasn’t a 5 star hotel, but to walk into a room that was “just” cleaned by cleaners and to see and find all the things I did was horrible. I have never felt so dirty staying somewhere before. I will be making further contact and asking for a refund."

"I had a perfectly pleasant stay until thhe day before I checked out when someone from reception entered the room (while I was in there) under the impression that I was supposed to have checked out. It was probably a simple mistake, which while invasive is also understandable. No apology, but they are mostly meaningless anyway and it probably wasn't the fault of the person who entered the room. Hadbit ended there I wouldn't have mentioned it, but the same thing happened again when despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door housekeeping also entered the room also under the mistaken impression that I had checked out. I called reception after the second incident and was put on hold for 18 minutes before they eventually tried to put the blame on housekeeping (and repeatedly got my name wrong, which I wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for the being on hold and the weasily attempt to put what was clearly a reception error on the housekeeping staff). The whole incident left a lingering bad impression, which is unfortunate after an otherwise very pleasant and uneventful stay."

"The Kooii apartment hotel is nice. We stayed in the double bath and bed rooms. The room is tidy and clean. High cost effectiveness comparing to the traditional hotel in terms of room size, clothes washing and cooking by your own. The only problem is there are some pubs downstairs. It is quite noisy during the night of weekend. Highly recommended to all travellers who are going to spend few days in Brisbane."

"Traveling with kids and staying in an apartment is so comfortable! It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and is fully equipped with laundry, drying, and cooking utensils. The location is also very convenient; it's only a 5-minute walk to Yili Valley Station, which has a large supermarket and fast food options. The kids love it here and have a great stay. Self-check-in and check-out are also very convenient."

"The location is superb, just a kilometer or two from the city center. The room was impeccably clean and featured a washing machine, dryer, a well-equipped kitchen (complete with utensils), a bathroom, and a fridge. The bed was very comfortable. There's also a sky pool, which is perfect for photo opportunities and social media check-ins, but not ideal for proper swimming."

"WARNING - this is NOT the Hotel. Go to FV by Peppers if you want the real experience. I could not locate keys nor would the manager answer the phone to assist. The onsite Team were lovely and accommodated me as much as they could, although they didnt have to as I was not a paying customer of theirs. I finally got access to the apartment and it was AWFUL!!! I am disgusted. I ended up leaving and paying to stay at the Hotel. Miles apart! I was so thankful for the real experience. Avoid this SCAM."
