Best Hotels in Fujisawa

The room is very simple (compliment), there is no step between the guest room and the unit bath, and the toilet space. There is a Japanese outlet and a USB-A jack beside the bed. It was close to the station and it was attractive to be able to eat dinner and breakfast on the hotel floor. It was a plan with half board, and I was satisfied with choosing the king on the same floor as the front desk for dinner. However, the town of Fujisawa had the impression that there were not many restaurants and few choices.

The hotel is very close to Fujisawa Station, a few hundred meters away. After entering the door, enter the confirmation number at the front desk to pick up the room card. There are also people. Basic toiletries and tea bags should be collected by themselves opposite the front desk. The rooms are the same size and configuration as most basic hotels in Japan. Breakfast is OK, all disposable tableware. There are several restaurants nearby to eat.

There is nothing wrong with it except for a small point. It is very close to Fujisawa Station. Exit the station from the North Exit, cross the overpass, and get off the escalator on the right. Although it is small, it is relatively clean, the price is reasonable, and it is convenient to eat around. I ate pepper lunch, which was not bad.

It's a little inconvenient that it's a little far from the station and there are few shops nearby (there is a 7-Eleven across the river), but I think it's a calm stay. The room was on the website that it was invited to a Western-style building in Kamakura, but it may be more like a private house room than a hotel room. It is a simple interior with a warm wooden interior. It was a pity that the windows were a little shabby, including the curtains. I think breakfast is a feature here. There is also delicious bread at the salad and soup bar. There is also curry. I was worried that it was not enough compared to the Japanese and Western buffets, but all of them were very delicious and it was a breakfast that made me feel happy as I ate. The next day was the same menu, but the person who stayed for a long time had a quiche service and was very satisfied.

The room was characteristic that there was no step between the room and the unit bus, and the toilet was easy to use even if the foot was weak, and a part of the mirror in the bathroom had a cloudy heater. Also, I didn't know if it was a south-facing room, but I thought that the light shielding curtains were overlapping in the center, and the brightness and privacy measures were possible. Also, it was helpful that there was a trouser presser and mineral water in advance. It was a smoking room, but it may have been deodorized in advance. Breakfast was 200 yen discount when I asked at check-in even if I stayed overnight. In the restaurant on the second floor, the Viking was not bad with the design of the Shonan sea and the sea image, and the staff movement was good. This makes you very satisfied if you make a little more discount for the guests

We used it for the light up of enoshima ”Shonan no jewel” and the next day's sightseeing in Kamakura. The room was described as 12 ㎡, but it did not feel unexpectedly narrow, and it was comfortable and comfortable with a compact but easy to use layout. I did not stay in this Ryokan, I canceled my book. Here is why: Most Ryokans make traditional dinner and I thought this one too (by seeing their Kaiseki meal photos in their website) But it seems I was wrong. Before booking a room in this Ryokan, I read the reviews and checked the meals menus in their website: the Kaiseki meal was one of the many reasons why I wanted to book this Ryokan. So I booked a room and almost two months before my arrival I sent them a message asking for the meals price and to make a dinner reservation for two people. Their reply was ”Dinner cannot be prepared. Please have a dinner in the dining room outside the hotel”. So I asked again why I could not make a dinner reservation (in almost two months in advance) Perhaps the kitchen is closed? their answer again was: ”I do not have a reason. It depends on the plan you choose”. Well... If this Ryokan doesn't serve dinner, they should let it clear to everyone in the information section. If they do serve but it depends on whatever plan they have, they should again let it clear to the customer. I was lucky to ask before my arrival and of course I cancelled the hotel of 210EUR one night... the communication was bad (they could explain the meals plan perhaps?). So I decided not pay 210 for one night in a Ryokan with a poor costumer service and where I cannot have a full Ryokan experience. In another review I saw they have had this same issue with other guest. Therefore, If you are wiling to stay in this Ryokan anyway, I highly suggest you to ask them anything first before booking a room (to avoid surprise). So sad... I truly think they don't care about costumer service...
