"Right above the South Building, it's just around the corner after you land, so it's very convenient for coming and going. The front desk was welcoming, but the room's hygiene was very subpar, especially on the second day when I found a fingernail-sized bloodstain tucked into the corner crack by the table. It seemed like the sheets hadn't been changed. I initially had a good impression, but those with high hygiene standards should definitely avoid this place."

"When I booked, I thought I'd reserved a twin room, but I clearly didn't read carefully enough. Since the hotel was fully booked that night, they kindly provided an extra set of bedding, which was very helpful. The room itself was spacious. There were no disposable slippers in the room, but when we asked, the hotel staff promptly brought some up. We were pleasantly surprised and felt very welcomed when a lady at the front desk spoke to us in Chinese during check-in. We took the Thameslink to Gatwick Airport and asked for directions to the hotel along the way; it was actually quite easy to find. The hotel is located in the South Terminal, and getting to the North Terminal the next morning was convenient as well, with clear signs along the way. (I didn't take any photos of the hotel.)"

"The room was nice, and I checked in early for an extra £15. But it was worth it because I was incredibly tired."

"I had checked into so many hotels. I can’t believe this hotel did not have water during my stay on 26-27 July. After I checked in, I tried to call the receptionist but no one answer the phone call. As it was so late, I was so tired at 1am, I went to sleep. The next morning there was still no water, I heard sound outside of my door, I quickly opened the door and the housekeeper was there. She told me the entire building had no water for the entire day. We quickly check out the room and went over to Gatewick Hotel to wash up ourselves. I feedback the staff and they just offered two bottles of mineral water to us. How could a hotel without any water🤦♀️"

"It was an interesting experience staying there for a night. I stayed there just after I arrived at the UK from Venice at the latest flight on the day, and on the next morning, I was scheduled to get on the first train at 5:11 from Gatwick. For such traveler who wants to save the maximum time, it was the best hotel. Also, the staff was nice and I was relaxed staying there."
