"Had a lovely 10 holiday. Although the transfer from airport was about 2 hours it was worth it. Igrane is a lovely small village but not overcrowded. Our room was very spacious and clean with a large balcony. The day after arrival we did the 'hidden secrets' tour with Josep.He gave us a wonderful insight to the area with his knowledge. We did the 'olive oil tasting' also with Josep. Surprisingly we were the only ones there but really enjoyed this. We spent time at the Sunset bar, served mainly by Rosario and Nikola who gave great service and recommended some lovely cocktails. Spent 1 day with a Bali Bed which included prossecco and fruit, this works out better than hiring sunbed on the beach. We were 1/2 board. The breakfast and evening meals were perfect and we we're always greeted by the restaurant team. Mario served us most of the time, always with a smile, he even remembered our room number and what we would drink each night Thankyou to all the hotel staff for making sure we have such a perfect, memorable holiday!"

"We had a rent car and had difficulty reaching the island by ferry from Split because the ferry schedule was very limited. We became unsure of what we faced, so we eventually decided to cancel our reservation. We first sent an email to the Hotel on Saturday night, explaining our concerns and requesting advice about the ferry, then after not receiving any response, we decided to cancel and make alternative arrangements on Sunday before our stay was to begin on Monday. The Hotel finally responded on Monday. Unfortunately, we had to pay for 1 night, which I understand."

"Fabulous hotel in the very pretty Baska Voda. Hotel is right on the front with views of the harbour and sea. Such an excellent location, can walk left out of the hotel to Makarska, such a beautiful walk along the pathways on the seafront and to Brela and beyond on the right. Perfect location! We had a standard room ( only rooms left) but our room like the rest of the hotel was exceptionally clean, of a really good size, great shower ( always very hot water) and plenty of storage. The room had a fridge, hairdryer, kettle for coffee/tea ( replenished daily) along with a coffee pod machine providing 2 pods thereafter I think you had to purchase them. Not a problem for us as I always take my own tea and coffee. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily. The bed and pillows were the most comfiest we have had anywhere we have travelled, just divine! Breakfast provided an excellent selection of hot/cold foods, everything you could wish for with some lovely breads. We booked half board, the choices and cooking were better some nights than others but we always found something to eat. Plenty of restaurants on the doorstep to choose from if you wish to eat out. A bottle of wine, cocktails and all drinks were very reasonably priced in fact we didn’t drink anywhere else every evening. Big shout out to all the fabulous staff who served us at breakfast and dinner especially Kristina in the restaurant and Ivan who made the most excellent cocktails! All staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming, very friendly and we couldn’t have received better service. This was our very first visit to Croatia and I was rather anxious about my choice as friends were travelling with us. Absolutely no need, we loved this hotel, loved Baska Voda and we will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel. Thank You all at Grand Hotel Slavia, for a fabulous stay!"

"Having booked 4 nights here, I ended up paying for 1 much to my disappointment and left the hotel immediately. The atmosphere was terrible. The hotel is so dated and to top it off the security is appauling. Anyone could walk into this hotel as the security gates were not working as they were just open. The beach described is not it own and shared by the locals so it can get very busy. The pool is overcrowded with no sunbeds available. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. I hardly ever right reviews but this hotel is so bad I just had to. You have been warned."

"Hotel is about 10m away from old town and port. Rooms were large but outdated, in need of a refresh. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Dinner lacked variety if you stay for several nights. The staff were always smiling and friendly, which is probably the highlight of this hotel."

"The hotel was great in terms of location and friendliness. However, it's not recommended for people with limited mobility as you have to descend about 3 flights of stairs to reach the beach. The cleanliness in the rooms also wasn't top-notch; hair in the bathroom upon check-in remained there until the last day. But in my opinion, what was even worse was the quality of the food. It was almost the same food every day, with nothing freshly grilled, which is typical for Croatia. There were stews every day. The best thing was the pizza. But for a 4-star hotel, the food was simply inadequate."
