"We had an enjoyable stay. Service is friendly and prompt with our requests. Location is good. Plenty of eateries nearby. The view from the room is lovely. The unit came with 3 spacious rooms with comfortable bedding, 2 bathrooms with toiletries, furnished dining and living areas, a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The only downside is there are ants crawling around on the dining table and floor when we checked in."

"Loved my accommodation in Penang 🫶🏻 It offers multiple room options (studio and 1-3 bedrooms). Since I got the 3-bedroom but ended up going solo, I chose to sleep in different rooms every night for funsies 😆 The place is far from the attractions (30 min drive to Georgetown) but only 12 minutes away from the airport which came in handy when I couldn’t book a grab for my departure flight. Thankfully I arrived to the airport with a few minutes to spare 😮💨 I appreciated the bespoke towels and toiletries. The water filtration system was also wonderful. You can have cold, hot, and ambient temperature water. The kitchen has the necessary equipment for cooking (no condiments or cooking ingredients which is understandable) but I only used the fridge and microwave. The primary bedroom is spacious and has an en suite. The middle room is the smallest but still has a queen sized bed (the other bedrooms have a king bed). The internet connection is fast but the third room has spotty wifi sometimes. Water pressure is good. Enjoyed hot showers at night. They also provide hair dryer. While exploring the amenities I found the iron and board at the 13th floor (there’s also vending machines). The room has a washing machine but I didn’t use it. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. The room has an electronic door knob so you only need the code to get in but a keycard is necessary to use the elevator and access the amenities (I was given 2 during the check in). When I go back to Penang, I will choose this place again (maybe a smaller room this time if it’s another solo trip)."

"U Hotel was the first hotel I ever stayed in. It's a 3-star hotel without a restaurant. This time, I stayed in a ground-floor room with a street view. The room was incredibly neat, clean, and comfortable, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. My only minor regret was occasionally hearing the toilet flush from the neighboring room, but it wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, and I still slept soundly until morning. On Saturday evening, there was also a night market right across from the hotel, which I enjoyed browsing. There are plenty of food stalls and hawker centers around the hotel. However, there aren't many international food options available; you won't find dim sum, Japanese, or Korean restaurants nearby. It's safe to say the food choices are predominantly local."

"No window. Small toilet. Sink is outside the toilet. Tv was not working. But if just want to overnight with ample budget ok kut. Got lift to  fourth floor👍.i booked two superior rooms with 2 beds in each room. One room got windows but too big window .. quite warm because facing evening sun. One room the sink was leaking.The environment was quite creepy .. The management should take care of it. Parking was bery limited."

"Found this gem of a place by accident. With many hotels increasing rates during the festive season I managed to book a room here for a price I thought was way below the average for a 3 room unit. Of course my expectations were not much BUT when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - what I say a “bang for your buck” - it was near one of the busiest shopping complexes and close to highways which was a breeze until u hit town (obviously). My room even had a sea view. It’s tucked away outside the busy streets and to me it gave me the extra quietness and calm I needed after a long drive. I hit the pool and tried the gym - not a big gym but “it’s all there”. This is what I noticed : bus station and airport was in my opinion nearby (no more than a 20min grab ride) In short you can’t fault this property for the price you’re paying. I will be back! Tq for making the stay memorable."
