Dusit Suites Athens

Athens Coast Glyfada|0.79km from city center
Thai's Dusit's Rooftop restaurant, O Live, which commenced its operations in April 2023, has quickly secured its place as our preferred relaxation spot. It not only offers delightful dining experiences within an elegant setting, with breathtaking views of the enchanting Aegean Sea and the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sunset, but it also cultivates a warm and welcoming atmosphere akin to a cozy family environment. The dedicated staff, including Dora, Alexandra, Jason, Frabiel, and Ioanna, play a pivotal role in delivering personalized and exceptional service. Special mention must be made of Chef Nikos, whose flexibility and creative flair shine through in the captivating presentations of the Mediterranean-inspired menu. This menu boasts an array of seafood delicacies, oysters, lobster, succulent grilled meats, and a fine selection of vegetables. The tomato tree appetizer, in particular, stands out as an exquisite choice. A memorable experience took place last night when my husband surprised me with a delightful birthday dinner at O Live. The highlight of the evening was when Alexandra and Ioanna approached our table, bearing a delectable birthday cake adorned with glowing candles, all while serenading me with a heartfelt rendition of ”Happy Birthday.” This level of attentive and thoughtful service exemplifies what you can expect at O Live. It comes as no surprise that this establishment has earned a special place in our hearts as our favorite home-away-from-home destination. Congratulations to the leader at the helm, the GM Mr. Mertekis!

One&Only Aesthesis

Athens Coast Glyfada|0.97km from city center
It’s very difficult to articulate the O&O experience, the expression “you need to be there to fully appreciate” definitely applies here, but I’ll give it a go! From initially stepping foot through yes, the gated community to navigating the curated grounds, interactions with all staff members as you call a ‘kalimera’ to each one to when you leave, the ‘One&Only Experience’, as I’ve dubbed it, is truly unique. Some reviews here complain about the exclusivity but one knows this is what the brand manifests in advance. And it’s actually not so inclusive as to be snobby. From the private bungalows with their own gardens and plunge pools to walking the coastline and taking a cool glass of wine on the terrace with the Saronic islands and Peloponnese as your backdrop, the ambiance oozes relaxation and discretion. Greece is famous for its filoxenia and whilst O&O isn’t a Greek brand, it’s certainly adopted the natural friendliness this country is famed for; nothing feels forced or fake with the staff interactions. And as a solo female traveler in a large setting, I didn’t feel unsafe at all. Professionalism reigned ie: Reception did not hand over my bungalow key and state its number out loud, no wait staff asked for my room number out loud and no annoying comments such as ‘Only one?’ when being shown to a table for dining (this a particular sticking point of mine in general and in other establishments when it’s prefaced with ‘only’, as if this is something to be ashamed of!) Now for the basics: - Queen or King sized bed with mattress toppers that provide the best quality sleep - Pillows to sink into - Romantic setting in bungalow with outdoor fireplace - Separate shower and roll top bath and secluded enough to ensure you can soak with magnificent views from the floor to ceiling windows - Walk in closet And of course, their Guerlain spa.

Oasis Hotel Apartments

Athens Coast
The location of the hotel is good, the surrounding traffic is X95/96 suburban car, urban bus140, etc. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the central square, commercial street, supermarket, etc., opposite the hotel is the beach and the boat marina. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the sanitation is still clean, the room is large, the wife is indoor, the indoor twin beds are juxtaposed, there is a small balcony, the facilities are general, there is central air conditioning in winter, bathroom shower 🚿, like a domestic 3-star hotel. There is an outdoor swimming pool, which cannot be used in winter. Before breakfast, there is a buffet, and the room is delivered during the epidemic, and the content is average. Call the front desk in advance and make your own order: coffee☕️+bread+fruit+cheese, no salad in the morning. There is nothing wrong with the front desk and telephone communication in English, European English, easy to communicate. . There are many hotels nearby, and there are also new-style hotels. I choose this one because I need Wi-Fi to the room. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic, some hotels are not very enthusiastic. Some like to serve European guests. .

Hotel location is not bad, close to the beach, close to the only golf course in Athens. The staff is attentive, the hotel environment is good, the room is small but the decoration is very new and tidy. Because it is close to the road, the noise is relatively loud at night, and people who are used to going to bed early may be affected. Overall is very good, it is recommended!

We stayed here in the suburbs of Athens rather than in the centre having see the sights many times before. Rooms and breakfast both of a high standard and we were looked after very well throughout. Corina answered my many queries before arriving and made excellent and helpful reccomendations re where to eat and visit when we arrived. Very pleased that we are staying again in the hotel later in our trip.

This hotel has a great location and Is beautifully appointed. The pool is wonderful with a waiter to bring food and drinks and also a pool bath/shower room. It was too windy for the beach and this was a great alternative. The common spaces around the hotel are beautiful and nice to hang around. We found the breakfast buffet to be outstanding and the staff all around to be so warm and helpful. We I’ll be back!!
