This hotel is a great location, but it's inside of another building which makes it hard to find at first. The rooms were beautiful and having a river view is worth it. However I didn't like the staff that allowed others to cut in front of us while we waited to check into our room. Since we do not speak Chinese I would expect the staff to tell them to wait their turn since we were obviously there first. Also there is so much smoking in the hallway that they should do something about it by putting smoke alarms in the hallway to go off and kick people out or put that it's not smoke free because I would not stay here if they were honest. They need to do better at that to get a better service or cleanliness score from me.

This hotel boasts an excellent, prime location, right in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery. It's just a 1-minute walk to Qing'e Ferry Pier for bamboo rafting. To the right, it's a 5-minute walk to the Big Banyan Tree and 10 minutes to Jūlóngtán Park. To the left, it's a 5-minute walk to Gongnong Bridge and the Aviation Experience Base. Being perfectly situated within the Ten-Mile Gallery, you're treated to breathtaking mountain views from the moment you step out and stunning scenery from your window – absolutely wonderful!
Plenty of dining options are available nearby, offering a wide variety of choices, along with shops for daily essentials. Both the hotel and the surrounding area have numerous e-bikes for rent, making local transportation very convenient!
Hotel Facilities: The hotel exudes a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere, making guests feel completely at ease. There's a swimming pool on the first floor, and the restaurant is conveniently located downstairs next to it. Rooms are equipped with bathtubs and feature complete modern amenities. From the hotel, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Fresh fruit is provided daily. The butler and the rest of the staff are incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making this a truly excellent choice!

Based on the reviews mentioning clean rooms and good breakfast, as well as the attractive photos and convenient location, we decided it would be a suitable choice. However, our experience far exceeded our expectations.
Firstly, the hotel made a genuine effort to accommodate our special requests made during booking. We had asked for rooms that were close together, easily accessible, and quiet, as we were traveling with two elderly family members. Upon check-in, we were pleased to learn that our requests had been fully taken into consideration. This thoughtful attention to detail made a very positive impression.
Secondly, the level of service provided was exceptional. The staff added me on WeChat and offered what felt like a personal butler service, providing all necessary information about the hotel and proactively checking whether we needed any assistance. Their responsiveness and warm attitude demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction and made our stay very pleasant.
Breakfast was also a highlight. There was a good variety of dishes, everything was clean and well presented, and the staff managed the service efficiently. It was a delightful start to each day.
The only minor disappointment was during the traditional Chinese fan-making activity. The staff member in charge displayed a rather indifferent attitude, offering little guidance or explanation when we arrived. As I had two English friends with me, including an 88-year-old gentleman, I asked a few questions in Chinese to help them understand the process, but the responses were brief and unhelpful, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite this, we chose to complete the session for the experience, particularly for our guests visiting Guilin for the first time.
That said, this minor incident did not overshadow the overall outstanding experience. I would like to commend the hotel’s redemption staff, particularly a young gentleman who provided exemplary service—assisting us with various requests such as moving a safe into our room, sharing local travel and dining recommendations, and even helping with small personal tasks. His professionalism and dedication truly went above and beyond.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent amenities and even high-quality toiletries and paper products.
In conclusion, despite one small issue, the hotel’s exceptional service, attention to detail, and comfortable accommodations made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again in the future.

TTjzc 99Traveling with my family this time, out of the many hotels in Guilin, we chose Lijiang Courtyard, and our stay proved it was the right decision. The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Li River, offering unparalleled first-row river views from our rooms. We booked four rooms, but upon arrival, we realized we needed an extra bed for our larger group. The front desk staff immediately helped us by upgrading us to a more spacious room, which solved the problem. The facilities and equipment are also very complete; the rooms have smart toilets and bathtubs, and everything is clean. I tried the spa and it was very comfortable. The breakfast offers a diverse selection, with rotating dishes daily, including local Guilin specialties like Guilin rice noodles and oil tea, which are definitely worth trying. Every staff member we encountered at the hotel greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

I just walked in through the hotel's side entrance without a reservation, it took one second, absolutely amazing! This hotel, Shuiyue Yixiangshan Courtyard Hotel, is right next to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area entrance. I arrived in Guilin late at night, tired from the flight, and a staff member immediately helped me with my luggage, which really made a great first impression of Guilin! The room was also very grand with a large bathtub, spacious and clean. Its proximity to the scenic area is so convenient!

GGuest UserOverall, the front desk staff service was excellent. Most of those we spoke to were helpful and professional. However, there was this one person whom I would like to highlight in the hopes that he can be better trained. One of the front staff, a young man with curly hair, kept singing when he pushed our luggages and he also sang a bit while at the counter. This is actually very unprofessional because the front desk staff represents the hotel to a certain extent. He was also quite unhelpful when we asked him questions as he would give a one liner statement and go back to doing whatever he was doing. The other staff at the counter had to step in to answer to our questions.
In terms of cleanliness and view, it was quite good. The view in particular from our windows was amazing and had a very peaceful vibe; you can see the surrounding mountains and the ambience of the room added on to the quality.

”Hanfu freedom! Photos are illegally beautiful!” 👘 Who gets it?! The hotel actually offers free Hanfu for guests! Saved hundreds of yuan. The styles are exquisite and clean. No need to bring your own to get those ancient-style blockbusters. Wandering West Street and taking night shots in Hanfu, every casual photo is full of atmosphere.
”Cleanliness freaks rejoice! The environment is so clean it's therapeutic!” 🛏️ The accommodation environment completely exceeded expectations! The room was neat and hygienic, not a single odd smell. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and facilities were complete and neatly arranged, showing thoughtful attention to detail. The overall atmosphere was fresh and comfortable, instantly curing my travel fatigue.
If you want convenience and a sense of ritual for your Yangshuo stay, this place is genuinely a no-brainer! Next time I come to Yangshuo, I'm staying here again!

GGuest UserThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

Llalalanana_Randomly picked this hotel in Yangshuo and it turned out to be amazing! The 270-degree river view balcony room with a soaking tub lets you unwind while gazing at the stunning mountains and rivers – it's so therapeutic, I wish I could stay longer. The room is fully equipped with amenities like a smart toilet and a bathtub, and the bedding is super comfortable. Public areas include a spa and a gym, and for those with kids, the children's play area is a real lifesaver. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the complimentary afternoon tea is also a nice touch. The Sky Mirror on the rooftop is fantastic for photos. Plus, it's super convenient as it's close to Guilin Eternal Love, Yulong River, and Ten Mile Gallery.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
