"The location is conveniently close to Hamilton Station, about 300 meters away. It's a historic establishment, so the facilities are inevitably a bit old, but still acceptable. Dinner was good, highly recommended."

"If you are staying for a short stay of one or two nights it is acceptable as it is next to the station. But at the same time, you have to accept the music from the bar downstairs and the public bathroom with low privacy, no hooks and enough space to put your dry clothes."

"Absolutely disgusting, unsanitary Toilet was not clean on arrival, caked on grime and dust on ceiling fans, dishwasher was mouldy and covered in soap scum and debris, spoiling food found behind the couch in living room, pillows had hair on them from previous occupants, stains on air conditioner, ripped fly screen on balcony door, King bed was two single beds unsecured, not safe or usable, clothes drying rack covered in rust, car park filled with old mattresses and broken furniture. Contacted Hamilton directly via email, with photo evidence, no response whatsoever. Disappointing"

"Busy night in Newcastle with Matilda's and Cyndi Lauper. This location suited me and it was amazing. I arrived by train and 15 minute walk from Hamilton Station. Julie welcomed me and I felt very secure and comfortable. There is a kitchenette downstairs to make coffee and tea at any time. I was offered a lovely cheese platter. Quiet street and still minutes away from restaurants and cafes in Beaumont Street. Spacious room and huge bathroom with separate shower and bath/spa. There is a small balcony with table and chairs. Bed very comfortable and breakfast delicious. Hope to visit again and it would be a lovely place to stay as a couple. Air/Con or windows and door which are fully screened. Hope to return as a couple and see more of Newcastle"

"Had an amazing stay, I checked in late and was still pretty easy to reach out for assistance and get inside. Once getting inside, was shocked about how nice it was for the price. Would most definitely stay again and highly recommend for those in Newy!!"
