"I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay."

"There were incredibly noisy guests until 4.15 am. I contacted management but nothing was done hence a sleepless and stressful night. I am a regular user of Bella Vista, but no longer in Hamilton. The sound insulation between top and bottom floors is incredibly poor."

"I came here on a solo trip, but I think it's worth the price! The shower and toilet were clean despite being old, and I was very impressed. The location is close to the city center, and there's a Pakinsave nearby, so you can cook your own meals. However, the beds seem to be quite worn out, with handles coming off, and worst of all, the futons smelled really bad, probably because they hadn't been washed. If you can overlook that, it's totally fine."

"Its nice to stay at the department. 2 rooms, 1 hall with full kitchen furniture, 4 spaces in bathroom. 1queen bed 2 single beds, 1sofa, 1 big table, very nice to stay. The location is easy to get. The road near the department is nice to take a picture. Only a disadvantage is that the reception is far away from there, about 4km. I checked the confirmation form, it was said, "no reception, the check-in guide will arrive a moment later." Now I am AKL airport two days after, still haven't received the guide."
