The hotel's parking lot is large and it is less than ten minutes' walk from Lingyin Temple. This hotel was overall an amazing experience! The staff were so helpful and welcoming right from check in. The room was a great size, we got the two bed size. The room did not smell bad, and there were plenty of amenities offered for whatever we needed. A really nice touch was that there was real tea offered and a real tea set to serve it with, which is very fitting considering the name of the hotel! Breakfast was great each morning and was very yummy with a good selection. And the location - it is super accessible and puts you right in the middle of the west lake area, with endless things to do. Overall an awesome experience!

In Qingzhiwu, exit from Exit B of Huanglong Sports Center Subway Station and turn right to 1003M. It is 3 stops to Qingzhiwu and costs one yuan. The accommodation in Qingzhiwu is all B&Bs, so eating is not very convenient, but you can go to eat near the Yuquan campus of Zhejiang University, just one stop away. It was a little cold on the first floor. Hangzhou has recently cooled down and the weather itself is also cold. It may be better to choose a room upstairs. The room is a bit small, but it is comfortable for two people. It is quite cheap, but the cleanliness and sanitary services are great. They help tidy up the room and put new supplies every day, which is great👍. The landlady also helped us find a power bank so that we could stay warm when we returned to the house at night. The service was really poor. The big crab here is Qingzhiwu. It is very convenient to go to the West Lake Scenic Area and Lingyin Temple.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and super-courteous. Booking and check-in were easy. The room was an attic with small windows on the third floor, fine for one but probably too cramped for more. It has a small adjacent shower room with pedestal toilet and basin. It was quite hot in the afternoon in late October but the aircon was great. A cleaner replaces the ”eco-friendly” disposable towels (compostable? in plastic? I don't know), water bottles, etc. and empties bins daily, so it is well serviced. There is a little shopping neighbourhood further to the northwest (keep walking to the end of the little Boulevarde and keep going through the plaza with the dancer statue), handy for basics and dining. This minsu has a lovely little cafe downstairs. There is also a washing machine. The bed was firm and very comfortable. If you are more than about 1.65m in height the attic room may be uncomfortable. The minsu is on the road leading to the 灵隐寺庙 complex, which is about a five hour mountain walk and well worth exploring --- just not on the weekend when it is SO crowded.
