City Express by Marriott San Jose Costa Rica ★★★

"The location is good, but you need a navigation system when driving by yourself, and it is easy to miss the highway exit! It is best to drive locally when driving to the airport. You have to pay a fee when you take the highway exit from the airport. It is not much, but you have to queue up, which is troublesome."

Hotel Cibeles Resort ★★★

"worst hotel i ever stay in CR..I flew from fort lauderdale just to see an spaniard heavy metal band who played at palacio de los deportes im the town of heredia.first jacuzzi didnt work.second glass door in the shower leak to outside.even paying 12 dollars for breakfast they can not guaranteed it so you have to order it 24 hours in advance..they got a kind of church inside organizing cults and they do weddings too."

Hyatt Place Cariari Convention Center ★★★

"This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From check-in to check-out, everything ran flawlessly. The room was impeccable, the facilities were in perfect condition, and every single service we used exceeded our expectations. Not one issue, not one complaint — just a truly seamless and enjoyable stay from start to finish. But what really made this experience unforgettable were the people. I have to give a very special shoutout to Andrea (Front Desk) and Daniel (Bar), who were simply outstanding throughout our entire stay. Both greeted us every single time with a warm, genuine smile and an eagerness to help that felt completely natural — never forced. Whenever small hiccups arose, they handled everything quickly, gracefully, and always with a great attitude. They made us feel like valued guests, not just room numbers. Daniel called every guest by our names! Andrea and Daniel are a true asset to this hotel, and a perfect reflection of the excellence that defines the entire team here. Everyone we interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. If you're looking for a place where everything just works — and where the people make all the difference — look no further. Highly recommended, without any hesitation. We'll definitely be back!"

Adventure Inn ★★★

"We really enjoyed Adventure Inn and highly recommend it. It is such a change from chain hotels! It has beautiful murals everywhere and has a restaurant with excellent food. We always stay there when we visit Costa Rica."

Hotel Vista de Golf, San Jose Aeropuerto, Costa Rica ★★★

Hotel Puerta del Sol - San Jose Airport ★★

"The hotel is not far from the airport; it's more like a guesthouse. The staff only speaks Spanish, the breakfast is basic (only one serving per person), there's no hot water, and you can't cook your own meals. The cleanliness is okay, but there were ants in the room. Comparatively speaking, it would be better to just find a guesthouse where you can cook your own meals; that would be much more convenient."
